  I booked myself for a nape cut, and my son (7) for a side and back fade with their back to school special. Their special said that it included a wash, and cut. My son's hair is in individual braids, and they said it would not be a problem to get him washed. My son was serviced by Carmen. Initially she did not fade his hair properly, and he corrected her. When I went to get him from his chair, the neck was not cleaned up at all and I had to get her to go back and fix that as well. When I asked her if she was going to wash him, she said that it was not included. I went to the register, and asked them if the wash was included, they confirmed again, and told Carmen that she needed to wash his hair. I kid you not...before I even finished paying, my son's "wash" was complete, and his hair was DRIPPING wet. It felt as though she didn't want to touch him. HIs cut was decent enough for $12 but it was so frustrating to keep sending him back, and to send a small child outside with wet hair. I wish I had not already paid...and TIPPED her before I saw how she sent him out. My one star is ONLY for Carmen at the Salinas salon, everyone else was great Cora at the front, and Monica who did my nape cut, I have ZERO complaints.

  Today my children had an appointment and when it was there turn no one wanted to cut there hair they said they were busy but they were using there phone never again going back.

  The customer service provided is subpar, characterized by a lack of communication and expertise in hair cutting. The prices are excessive, and the quality of the haircuts is unsatisfactory. As a woman who has experienced these issues, I urge the manager to take immediate action to rectify the situation. When clients arrive, the barber should be present well before the scheduled time and ensure that they are well-groomed and prepared.

  I decided to get my hair done hair as a result of a previous highlight job done at another place. I was really nervous, but Nicole fixed my hair! She did a beautiful job. It was pricey but worth it because she knows what she’s doing.
