Extremely happy with my experience with this massage spa! So professional and they went out of their way to make me comfortable with the massage therapy they provided.

UPDATE: Thank you for responding. However, the reply appears to be a generic template, including the “[Your Name]” placeholder, and it does not address the specific concerns I raised about the inconsistent pressure, uneven treatment of each side, and lack of a clear or balanced massage technique.
My understanding is that Joy is also the owner, so I am unclear what it means that the payment process and technique “will be reviewed,” since she was the therapist who provided the service and requested payment in advance. The invitation to “stop in again” is also vague and does not explain what would be done differently or whether another therapist would be assigned.
I appreciate the acknowledgment, but the response does not give me confidence that a future experience would be different.

I booked a 90-minute massage with Joy because she seemed to have many positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing.
When I arrived, I was asked to pay before the service. That felt a little unusual, though I understand some businesses may have that policy due to prior experiences. The location itself also felt older and not especially well maintained. I could not tell whether it was actually dirty or just dated, but it did not feel very relaxing or polished.
The bigger issue was the massage itself. It felt very unstructured and inconsistent. The areas she worked on seemed random rather than targeted, and the sequence did not feel balanced from one side of the body to the other. For example, when she worked on my left side, the pressure was noticeably weaker and the time spent was much shorter than on the right side. She also did not repeat the same techniques on both sides, so the massage felt uneven.
I asked for more pressure a few times, but eventually stopped because the pressure and technique remained inconsistent. It did not feel like a massage from someone with strong technique or a clear therapeutic approach.
The price was reasonable at $99 for 90 minutes, and I still tipped $20. However, I would not return. Since Joy appeared to be one of the more frequently reviewed therapists there, I expected a better experience.

I recently booked a massage here and unfortunately left disappointed with the experience.
The pricing was confusing from the start. The website advertised a 60-minute massage for $60, but when I arrived I was told the price was $69. After mentioning the online price, the staff agreed to honor it. I then asked about a deep tissue massage and was told that service would be $69, so I agreed.
The actual massage experience did not match what I expected from a deep tissue massage. The only deep-pressure work consisted of a few minutes of elbow pressure on my back. After that, I was asked if I wanted oil for an additional $10. I declined, but oil was used anyway. The remainder of the session consisted primarily of oil application, hot stones being moved across my back and legs, and then the oil being wiped off. There was very little actual massage work performed.
In the end, I paid $69 plus a prepaid tip and did not feel that I received the deep tissue massage I had requested. I also found the repeated upselling during the appointment distracting and not conducive to a relaxing experience.
Based on my experience, I would not return and would recommend that others carefully clarify both pricing and services before booking.
