- DDDaisyMay 9, 20261.0What an unpleasant experience... I left this store about an hour ago feeling deeply bothered and confused. I went in planning to purchase hair products and do some browsing. About 2 minutes into my search, a worker approached me asking for my name and afterwards said it was because she thought I had an appointment. (?) Shortly after, another worker sweeping asked me if I needed help. Mind you, she didn't ask the woman next to me that question. That's when I started feeling uneasy. I headed to the cash register to proceed with my purchase. Immediately after I paid for my items the guy working the register spoke to his mic "I already did" I was already feeling monitored and to make matters worse, as I was walking towards the exit, the security guard was looking at me and the worker who first asked for my name waved him off and proceeded to wish me a "good night" I don't understand why all four workers acted the way they did, but it made me feel targeted that they were monitoring my shopping behavior when I was simply browsing. I want to avoid feeling this way again, and will no longer be shopping at Sephora.

Would love though if Sephora brought back mandatory free samples at check out with purchases, 400+$ purchase and 0 sample, nothing. I’ve lost my Rouge title as I prefer to shop at alternative stores which offer you free samples with every purchase. You can test new products without begging or paying for testers.
