It was my first time having any kind of waxing/sugaring done, so I was quite nervous and did a lot of research before choosing a salon. I called a few local places, and right away it was clear that Pamela was different. She was so knowledgeable and took all my questions really seriously. I got the impression that she prioritizes overall skin health with her clients, which was not something I found in my conversations with other salons. This made me feel a lot more confident in my decision to try sugaring for the first time! When I arrived at the (beautiful) salon, Pamela was training an apprentice. They were both kind and results-driven. They turned a nerve-wracking situation into a comfortable experience. During the process, we learned I have sensitive skin. However, Pamela's technique and experience really came into play here - she paid careful attention to any concerning symptoms and made sure I was reacting well to the treatment. The whole thing was minimally painful and by the end of it I was even having fun! The process was quick and easy. The salon was clean, pretty, and very calming. And the results were great! I felt so pampered and pretty walking out of the salon. My skin was bright, smooth, and soft. 2 weeks later, most of my hair is yet to grow back! I love this salon and recommend to anyone getting hair removal in the La Jolla area.
