Such a great massage experience I received today! Loi was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to ask about my needs. I came in with lower back pain, and instead of just a relaxing massage, he suggested a deep tissue massage and let me tell you… it was amazing and still relaxing at the same time. I left feeling so much better. I will definitely be coming back! Clean facilities as well.

I have been to many different massage places in the Danville/Alamo/Walnut Creek area in the last 10 years and Alyson has consistently given me the best Deep Tissue massage by far. I've been to her 5-6 times and each time it has been a fantastic massage which I have continued to feel the benefit of for many days after. My search for the best is over, it is Alyson

Would like to begin by recognizing the kindness of all staff members during my visit :)
I chose to visit this location due to its recent high ratings.
Possibly it could've been a bad day for my particular masseuse as the massage service itself was poorly performed and did not reflect any Swedish massages I have ever experienced.
I was in hopes the altered experience may result in an unexpected outcome... unfortunately it did not (me utilizing positive skepticism)
The Now Swedish massage consisted mainly of stationary applied elbow pressure.
Little to no use of hand manipulation and or movement.
And majority of time spent literally elbowing my arms: (
During the initial intake you are questioned regarding preference and key areas to focus. The identified lumbar region for myself was completely skipped over during the massage. Hence I'm not sure the advantage of the initial intake conversation.
All in all I'm sure there may be other masseuse's at this location that may deliver great service. It's unfortunate this was my initial experience.
***Update to Owners response
My wife and I visited The NOW Massage Receipt # DAN-RR2323 On 2/23/2026 (1 of 2 receipts for same visit)
Strange as I explicitly recall explaining the above experience to the kind lady that checked us out. During check out she had inquired regarding our experience so I grasped the opportunity. The receptionist concluded with the owner shall reach out to you shortly. No “reaching out” was ever made. Yet upon reading the owners Google review response just now I believe we may call to follow up :) Thank you, more to come…

The Now is super cute, but SANDRA (or Sammi)!!!! I came in for an emergency massage as my back was spasming in hopes that I luck out with the massage therapist I could make an appointment with only an hour of notice. From the first touch, I knew I was in the hands of someone who was literally born to heal people. I got a membership because of her and walked out majorly improved. THANK YOU!!!
Frequently Asked Questions About The NOW Massage Danville
How does The NOW differ from a traditional spa?
The NOW has reimagined the approachable luxury of a neighborhood spa with high-quality massages and exclusive enhancements that offer relaxation and healing. Our goal is to offer customizable massage services without the time commitment and cost of a traditional spa.
When should I arrive for my massage?
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled massage to permit ample time for check-in. As a courtesy to other members and guests, we must start and end each massage service at the scheduled time; accordingly, we will not be able to extend the time of your service if you arrive late.
How do I book a massage?
You can schedule an appointment online at www.thenowmassage.com, through The NOW Massage app, or by contacting the boutique directly by phone. We also welcome walk-ins, but due to high demand, we recommend scheduling in advance.
How do I cancel a service that I’ve scheduled?
A booked massage can be canceled by logging into your account on the website, through The NOW Massage app, or by calling the boutique. Please be aware of our late cancellation policy. We respectfully request at least 12 hours notice if you need to cancel or rebook your massage appointment. We charge 50% of the reservation made to the credit card on file to compensate our staff for missed wages when there is a last minute cancellation.
What if I fail to show for a scheduled massage or arrive late?
If you miss your appointment or arrive 15 minutes past your scheduled service start time, the service is automatically canceled and the full price of the scheduled service is charged to the credit card on file. To ensure a relaxing experience, and get the full benefits of the massage, we advise guests to arrive on time (or early) for all scheduled appointments.
How can I cancel my membership?
Ritual Members can cancel their recurring dues membership at any time by providing their boutique with 30-days written notice stating the desire to cancel. You may cancel in-person at the boutique or by sending an email to the boutique where your membership was purchased. All boutique contact information can be found under the locations page on our website.
Note: In states where required by applicable law, in addition to the above, you can also choose to cancel your membership through choosing the cancellation option on your membership profile online.
How long do I have to use massage credits?
Membership credits can accrue indefinitely until a Ritual Membership is canceled. Unused massage credits will continue to accrue (i.e., roll-over month-to-month) as long as your membership remains in place. You will have 3 months from the date of cancellation to use any unused massage credits before they expire. No refunds are issued for unused credits.
Can I freeze my membership?

What if I’m not feeling well?
If you are feeling sick or unwell prior to the start of your scheduled massage, we encourage you to stay home. Yes, if you’ve purchased items in a boutique, we accept returns in original condition (unused, undamaged and unopened in the original packaging) within seven days from the date of purchase. All items purchased in a boutique are only eligible for return or exchange in the same location it was purchased. Because jewelry is made-to-order, jewelry is eligible for exchange only.
