- AWAshleigh WatkinsOct 1, 20261.0Far from great is an understatement, horrible is more like it. I’ve been in a couple times and every experience is terrible. zero customer service, no greeting and NO PRICES ON ANYTHING. Use your on the clock hours more wisely and put some price tags on your inventory. I shouldn’t have to ask for a price check on every item I need. That’s ridiculous. Salon centric you need to make some changes at this location. I usually shop at the Yuba city location and it’s top notch! Knowledgeable staff, friendly and I actually look forward to going in there. Today will be my last time in the Chico salon centric. It’s unfortunate too because the butte college cosmetology school is a couple doors down. New stylist shouldn’t have this type of experience right out of school. What a shame!
- CNChristiana NicoleNov 30, 20241.0Walked up by 3:30pm, on Saturday — where hours were posted both online and on the door, open ‘til 4pm.. And the door was locked. Not a soul to be found — other than the woman and child standing outside, looking as baffled as I did. Wasn’t even note on the door to indicate why. Yet, there was a sign with “4pm” highlight, to emphasis that was the time they’s be closing on Saturday, the 30th. During their Black Friday sale weekend. If you’re going to close early — fine. Though, to be so inconsiderate to not even put a note I indicating such — locking customers out, during stated business hours, for no rhythm or reason. I wanted to potentially take advantage of their sale; so, when the store was closed, I attempted to go online.. I have never purchased online, prior — being I can go to the store — and I can’t even get that worked out, either; the website is not sending me the proper email, it’s suppose to. Closing the store down early, unexpectedly is one thing. However, this behavior is poor business practice — and I see from recent reviews it’s become a consistent habit. EDIT: Came here Saturday, before Christmas, around the same time — completely closed. This time, they did have a sign notifying they would be closed — though, to be closed the Saturday of Black Friday weekend AND the Saturday before Christmas, during normal store hours? This store really seems to not have it together, unfortunately.
