Amazing friendly staff! Really enjoyed my experience and Garrette did an amazing job on getting the stubborn knots from my shoulder. Definitely recommend!

I’ve now had three treatments at the spa inside Disney’s Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa over the past year, and this is exactly why I keep coming back. From the moment you walk in, the cast members are warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable—it truly sets the tone for a luxury experience. This was my second facial, and I had the pleasure of working with Danielle again. She really listens to my skin concerns and then works her magic. You can tell she’s experienced and passionate about what she does—definitely ask for her! I’ve also experienced a couples massage here, and it was just as impressive. The massage therapists take the time to understand any contraindications, and we both left feeling completely rejuvenated. The spa itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. It’s very clean and well-maintained, with lockers, plush robes, and slippers provided. There’s a steam room (not co-ed), showers, and a variety of amenities that elevate the entire experience. The co-ed lounge is one of my favorite parts—it features soothing waterfalls, relaxing music, and calming lighting that instantly puts you in a peaceful state of mind. They also offer thoughtful touches like hot teas, fruit-infused water (I saw three different kinds!), fresh baked treats, blankets, and even hot neck pillows. It truly feels like a full escape. Even though I visited during spring break, it was incredibly quiet—you don’t hear any of the outside noise from the park or hotel. Yes, you’re paying for a luxury experience, but you absolutely receive top-quality service—it’s worth every penny. Booking online was simple, you pay upon arrival, and a 20% gratuity is added (and honestly, it’s well deserved). For parking, valet is available at the hotel, but I personally use my Magic Key to park at Mickey & Friends and enjoy the walk over. Highly recommend this spa for both facials and massages—you won’t regret it!

They cancelled my wife’s scheduled spa service an hour before our 24-hour cancellation window over her disability. Will revise my review if and when the resort remedies the matter. This is a matter that likely would have impacted our $7k+ commitment to the resort in the first place that we are now locked into and can’t cancel for a refund.

Went to the spa Saturday. I've been about a dozen times to tenaya. Always loved my massage and the spa. This time was not the same. My 80 min massage started with him telling me he was allergic to the lotion and could only use 2 of the 4. Then with super light pressure he started my massage. A few times he would stop and He was drinking water from his hydro. It was gross that he stopping my massage then touching random doors opening them moving his water and then door closes hardly relaxing. Also he would touch my scalp and then just pulled my hair back and kept trying to put it up. Was not relaxing at all my hair doesn't hurt its already dead.... Then he would just have his elbow on me with light pressure and wasn't doing much but holdingit there. Thats how most of the "massage" was.. I told him a few times I wanted more pressure etc. Something he was using or had on himself was making me sneeze. I pulled my head up and had it side ways at one point and he acted like he couldn't continue the massage . Um I'm paying if I don't want my head in the cradle don't worry about it. Kinda sad cause I was coming almost monthly. I won't be back. Not worth the price to not have a top notch massage every single time. Easy to not do your job when no one sees you do it.
