  Absolute scam shop. Charges for parts and labor for things they don't actually do. Its dangerous to have your car worked on here. You will end up bringing it back 2 or 3 times and it still won't get fixed. Took a truck to a different shop and was shown how the part we paid for at promax wasn't replaced at all (yet Austins still charged over $1000 for it). I tried to reach out to the owner and never heard back. There's some shady things happening at this shop.

  I spent approximately $1,400 on a complete exhaust system installation. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, there was an obvious exhaust leak that could be heard immediately. Rather than addressing the issue, I was told the noise was caused by an engine misfire. Concerned about the workmanship, I took the vehicle to another exhaust shop for a second opinion. Their inspection revealed multiple burn-through holes in the newly installed exhaust piping that had been created during the welding process. I was also charged approximately $250 per Flowmaster 40 Series muffler, despite those same mufflers being readily available online for around $89 each. I understand that businesses need to make a profit, but the markup combined with the quality of the work was difficult to justify. The customer service experience was equally disappointing. When I asked the welder for his thoughts on the completed job, his response was that he “didn’t care” and “just wanted to go home.” That attitude reflected the overall experience I had with the business. The facility itself was dirty and poorly maintained, including the customer waiting area. During my visit, I also observed employees speaking negatively about customers after they had left, which created an unprofessional atmosphere. My overall impression was that customer satisfaction was not a priority. The focus appeared to be on collecting payment rather than delivering quality workmanship or standing behind the work performed. When legitimate concerns were raised, responsibility seemed to be shifted elsewhere instead of being addressed directly. Based on my experience, I found the work to be overpriced, the quality below expectations, and the customer service lacking professionalism. I cannot recommend this shop for exhaust work.

  I had some exhaust tips put on. They did a good job and we’re very quick. Definitely recommend.
