  I bought some oil here. Went out to my car and realized I bought the wrong oil. I tried to return it but the workers couldn’t figure out how to issue the refund and said wait a couple weeks and call this number. I gave them the oil, waited a couple of weeks, and called but was told I waited too long and they couldn’t. Maverick sure pulled a fast one on me and just got $30 free bucks

  Normally it’s great here. Clean, etc. I come almost every morning on my way to work for coffee. But, one of your employees needs to be trained on tobacco laws. Seriously , watch and listen to your cameras. 4/16/26 around 2:20-2:25, my son (age 18) and I went in for coffee, a candy, cat food, and a pack of cigarettes. Employee on duty wouldn’t sell them to me because my son wasn’t 21. Ok, fine. Luckily we live about 30sec down the street. I take him and drop him off down the street and he walks home. I go back to pay for everything and he STILL refused to sell me anything, claiming it’s an Utah law. I asked why and he said because he’s a “witness” that my son was with me before. How does this make any sense??? Anyone that has been “witnessed” coming in with their child before can’t buy alcohol or tobacco even if the kid is at home? I definitely wasn’t the nicest person when I walked out the door, but this guy isn’t the nicest either. Luckily, Maverick off University had no issues and sold me what we needed. That employee claimed there is no such law barring parents from buying these items when their children aren’t present.

  What can I say about Maverick, they're always good, they got great coffee, good pizza, way better than the Pizza Hut in the 7-Elevens. The bonfire Pizza Rocks! I'm going to go get one there in a minute just so I can take a picture of it, and eat it of course.
