Amazing to work with. Very thorough and communicative throughout. Explained things that needed done and gave helpful recommendations and suggestions. Also helped offer a tow company that was great and got car fixed in a very timely manner.

They were able to get my car in right away. They did more repairs than the Fiat dealership was going to do.

This was my second visit to this shop, and unfortunately, I was very dissatisfied with the service this time around. I had no issues during my inspection last year, but after recently bringing my car in for an oil change and tire rotation, one of their recommended services, I received it back with a problem that was not present beforehand. The vehicle did not have this issue before it was serviced, and I am now concerned that it may affect my safety. Despite the issue appearing immediately after their work, I was told I would have to pay up to $120 for a diagnostic inspection. I do not believe I should be responsible for paying to diagnose a problem that occurred while the vehicle was in their care. At the very least, they should have inspected the issue free of charge to determine whether it was related to the service they performed or them mishandling the car. Their response was unacceptable and unprofessional. I will not be returning to this shop and will be finding another business to service my vehicle going forward. In response to the owner, My vehicle being a 2008 model with nearly 148,000 miles, needing an air filter, wiper blades, a bulb replacement, or having prior hood damage from an unrelated deer accident are all irrelevant to the issue I experienced. None of those items explain why my shifter suddenly felt rough and misaligned immediately after my vehicle was returned to me following an oil change and tire rotation. Your response also misrepresents my concern. I never expected your shop to diagnose a shifter issue during an oil change. My concern was that after I noticed a new problem immediately upon receiving my vehicle, I was told I would have to pay approximately $120 for a diagnostic inspection to determine what had happened. Given the timing, I believe a courtesy inspection would have been the professional and customer-focused approach before asking me to pay. You also state that I “insisted” your shop caused the problem and “refused to consider any other possibility.” My conclusion was based on the simple fact that the issue did not exist before my vehicle was serviced and appeared immediately afterward. That is a reasonable concern for any customer to raise. Finally, suggesting that my goal was simply to have your shop pay for a repair “without any evidence” is an unfair assumption about my intentions. I was going to have all of the other recommended services done there including the state inspection, until this. My goal was to have a new issue that appeared immediately after service inspected without first being charged to determine whether it was related to the work performed. Those are two very different things. I stand by my review because it reflects my experience. I expected a business that stands behind its work to first investigate a concern that arose immediately after servicing my vehicle, rather than shifting the discussion toward my vehicle’s age, unrelated maintenance items, and assumptions about my motives.

Went to Witmer for an inspection because my normal garage did not have an opening. Called Thursday and they were able to get me in next day (Friday). Midday got a text asking if they were able to keep my van until Monday to finish up, I actually was leaving for vacation on Monday. They said no problem and were able to move some things around and get me finished up that same day. Great experience and rates.
