  I have rented from Enterprise for over 20 years and have never had a problem until this experience. My son’s vehicle was involved in an accident, and State Farm arranged a rental through Enterprise. My son picked up the vehicle because we are both covered under our family insurance policy. When State Farm’s coverage ended, we continued paying for the rental ourselves and were told we would receive a discounted rate. Recently, Enterprise called and said they needed the vehicle brought in for a routine tire tread and odometer check. They later claimed that no one had returned their calls. However, that makes no sense because they had my son’s phone number from the beginning. He was the one using the vehicle and the person who originally picked it up. If they needed to reach the person with the car, they had his contact information. When my son arrived at the branch, the store manager immediately began giving him a hard time. He suddenly claimed he didn’t know my son had been driving the vehicle, even though my son picked it up through the State Farm reservation. The manager then had my son remove all of his belongings from the car and said they needed to write an entirely new rental agreement at a new rate, despite our being told we would receive the discounted rate after the insurance coverage ended. I immediately drove to the branch to rent the vehicle myself. Despite having over 20 years of rental history with Enterprise and never having any issues, I was told I could not rent the vehicle because the manager “wasn’t comfortable.” I explained that if the concern was my son driving the rental, I would be the driver and my son could simply drive my personal vehicle instead. That reasonable solution was rejected without any clear explanation. The entire interaction was humiliating, unprofessional, and unnecessarily confrontational. I also attempted to contact the regional manager to discuss the situation. My calls went unanswered, yet the store manager, Dalton, apparently had no difficulty speaking with him. Based on the way we were treated, it is difficult for me not to believe that race may have played a role in this experience. I have been a loyal Enterprise customer for more than 20 years and have never been treated this way. If this is how customers are treated because of the color of their skin, I cannot recommend this location. I hope Enterprise thoroughly investigates this incident so that every customer is treated fairly, professionally, and with the respect they deserve.

  I’m very unhappy with my recent rental experience. I specifically reserved a hybrid car for a long drive to Florida, yet when I arrived, there were none available. The replacement vehicle was old, smelled like cigarette smoke, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned or aired out. The technology was outdated and wouldn’t connect to our cell phones, which made navigation inconvenient and unsafe for such a long trip. We had to take the car because we were on a tight schedule with appointments in Florida, but this was far below the standard I expected.

  Great experience renting from this location for our trip to Disney. Thaddeus was very patient going over the vehicle (esp helping this older gal with the Apple Car Play) and answered all of our questions. Shawn was equally as accommodating when we returned the vehicle. Will definitely rent from them again if we need a rental in the future!
