- NBNo BodyJun 11, 20261.0I keep going there to support them amd they keep failing. One kid didn't know how to start a mustang with a shifter/clutch. The other tells me stoner stories. I usually have to explain in detail where the part is I'm loooking for. The manager acts like a know it all because "most" of the employees are clueless. None of this applies to the older guy who actually knows what your talking. I walk in, he gets what I need or orders it and I leave. Ordering parts shoukdn't be frustrating. I truely feel sorry for people who know knowing about vehicals trying to order parts because someone else is working on their car. Seriously, I keep giving them a chance because they were here first.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
