- AKAli KahnMay 10, 20265.0Good day, the other day I took my old van to Advance on 88 , I told them what it was doing and they told me I need a new battery. On my way home I stop at Homestead store for 2nd opinion, the young man ( I believe he say his name is Will ) there listened to my story and said he would run a test on it to see. He told me it may be a bad cell in battery or corrosion but he would look and run test. The 88 store wouldn’t even come out to my van, they just said it needs a battery. The young man comes to my van and right away said there is a lot of corrosion here, he ran test, all came back good. The young man took me back into the store and explained to me how to clean the corrosion and sold me cleaner and preventative stuff, he offered to clean it up for me but I can do it myself no problem. Im glad I didn’t have to spend 300$ on battery right now, but when I do need the battery I will go back to Homestead, Im very happy with the Homestead store
- MTMa taMay 8, 20261.0So I purchased a car scanner from Ohio didn't use it didn't open it everything still intact they wouldn't accept it at this store stating they don't accept electronical items back which is not true it's up to the manager to accept it back or not as a return so everybody be careful when you're buying electronical item I don't believe they will honor returning it even if it's unopened
