  I went to look at campers with my family and saw a huge pile of old tires on the back of their property. This is a community health risk and needs to be cleaned up.

  There is some serious work on communication that needs to be done. We were told that we had to make appointments through their main site/number. We made an appointment to get work done at 2p with our service manager. We arrived before 1pm, over an hour early, to be told : our service manager's out sick. And then our service manager left early and finally he's and left early. That places serious doubt on General Rvs reliability. He knew we expected work to be done. BUT he stated that anyone arriving after 2pm (remember we arrived before 1pm) would leave their rig and return the next day. He also knew we live in our rig full time and would need a place to park it overnight if we were forced to stay. Knowing we had an appointment for repairs, all minor, our service manager failed to relay much information to anyone else. We ended up spending the night in a creepy lot behind the police impound lot, so they could start at "9am in the morning.' At 9:30, no one showed up to move the trailer and at 10, no one had any clue as to was being done, much less moved the trailer, nor could they locate the service manager we were told was on property. By the way, don't ask the receptionists for any assistance as they have no clue and are not any help. We did manage to get the work done by 3:30 but we had to wait for them to figure out the billing. So the bottom line is they need to improve ALL forms of communication across the entire company. The people making the appointments have no clue what's going on at each location. That needs to change. Four stars because the work got done in less that the usual 8-12 hours we have dealt with at other general RVs.

  We took our Grand Design Imagine AIM 16ML to the dealership for two minor fixes. From the moment we pulled in to the General RV West Chester PA parking lot, we felt well taken care of. Jim Evans coordinated our service visit. Everything was taken care of efficiently and the work done was communicated to us in detail by both Jim and the service manager, Christian. All in all, outstanding service from Jim Evans and staff!

  General RV Westchester SUCKS!! Go literally anywhere else unless you enjoy paying for repairs they screw up. And try to contact them after they've got your money .... nothing Megan in service is so nice before they get your money, after that - good luck - no response at all, after three attempts . I can still hear her telling me how great their after repair service is and that they will take care of any problems... yeah, except if you have a problem - then good luck... no response. Once they've got your money, they are done with you .. go ANYWHERE else

  Start to finish A++ at this West Chester, PA dealership! We feel extremely fortunate to have walked through this new experience with Jim Evans as our salesperson. Jim was patient, kind, informative, fair, and always willing and able to answer our many questions and concerns. Everyone we came in contact with was so kind and helpful. We started to feel like we were family. Kristen, Brian (there are two Brians we dealt with), Kayla, Tom, and Maureen are several who made our newbie experience a positive one. 2026 GD Imagine Aim 16mla.
