  Awful service. No one at the desk, all the other rental desks took multiple customers while a line formed and the National/ Enterprise rep was no where to be found.

  The lady, Alexis, at the State College airport rental, was on top of my situation. i had arrived 8-hours late due to flight cancellations, but she was able to put me in a car immediately. thanks

  Car rental companies have notoriously bad customer service but the staff and manager at this office even failed to meet that low bar. My wife had booked a one way midsize SUV eight MONTHS in advance. At pick up, we were told that the vehicle class we had booked was unavailable and we could only get a compact car. We tried to explain that our luggages would not fit in the car and we’d be willing to pay for an upgrade if that’s what it takes to get what we had a confirmed booking for. Even at one point another customer who’d seen our desperation offered to switch his rental with ours to which the employee responded: “sir, I don’t need your help. I’ll handle this myself”! He then took the key from me and canceled our reservation without our consent! A reservation with this company, regardless of how far in advance, means nothing if them honoring the agreement is not guaranteed and to a great extent, a function of the employee’s mood on the day. Throughout the interaction, the rude, condescending and unprofessional attitude of the employee did not cease.
