  Their process is inconsistent. Schedule an appointment with their agent for inspection, and double-check everything. Drive miles in the early morning, and when you arrived, they realized they don’t do inspections and canceled it. They might have good service as people said, but not consistently in their appointments, which could cause problems especially when you drive miles.

  I initially had a great experience with Monro. They’re very nice, however, I asked for a refund when I changed my mind about tires I ordered. The manager said I would be getting my deposit refunded less a restocking fee. I never got a refund and it’s been over a week now.

  These Guys are great and are always willing to help out even with the biggest of issues. Tires, brakes, and exhaust are their specialty, and if you’re looking for affordable custom exhaust work. This is the place for you!!!

  Stopped in for an inspection. The manager moved things around so I could get in and out quickly. She was also very pleasant. I believe her name was Tina.

  I had an extremely frustrating and uncomfortable experience at this Monro location. The inspector, Cody, told me that he could fail my inspection because of my rear windshield wiper. I later checked Pennsylvania’s actual inspection regulations, which address the windshield-wiper system and specifically identify the driver- and passenger-side wipers. A rear-window wiper is not listed as an inspection requirement or rejection criterion. Cody also threatened to fail my inspection because my license plate has a small chip, even though the plate is securely attached, illuminated, fully visible, and every letter and number is clearly readable. Pennsylvania’s inspection code only allows rejection when the plate does not match the registration, is hanging loosely, is obscured so the numbers cannot be identified, or the plate light does not work. PennDOT’s own FAQ also states that even an illegible plate, by itself, is not grounds for failing an inspection. When I asked what specific Pennsylvania inspection rule he was relying on, I did not receive a clear explanation. I also heard Cody talking about another customer and commenting that the customer could not speak English. I found that completely unnecessary, disrespectful, and unprofessional. The entire experience made me feel like they were searching for reasons to fail my vehicle instead of honestly applying and explaining Pennsylvania’s inspection requirements. I would not recommend this location, and I will be reporting the experience to PennDOT as well as the attorney general.
