  Brought my car in for an inspection (that was about 3 months past due). Car did not pass due to what I was told were the following needed repairs: Left and Right Arms and Ball Joints Front Breaks and Rotors Rear Breaks and Rotors Total cost with inspection ---- $1,500 Said thanks but no thanks and was told to be "really careful driving." Took the car to an independent guy down the street who I have used in the past. Left and Right Arms and Ball Joints are fine. Back breaks are fine. Only fix needed was the front breaks and rotors. Total cost with inspection ---- $470

  Accordingly, the "out the door price" you get over the phone increases by $100 when you walk in the door because of "fees" that can't even be explained by the staff. If you have an aftermarket sound system, they will mess with it. They will install staggered wheels backwards (back wheel up front, front wheel in the back), and the "head mechanic" will tell you that it's best to do an alignment before you do suspension work. My mind is blown. These are all personal experiences. Run away fast. Don't waste your money or time.

  Do not go here. I was visiting, 3 and a half hours away. It was my last day in Scranton when I noticed what seemed to be a nail in my tire. So, I decided to go to this Mavis shop. My dad has been a mechanic for over 30 years... i'd say he knows what he's talking about. He asked me to get it plugged. Initially the lady at the front desk, didn't catch her name, was checking out my vehicle. She immediately said it couldn't be patched since it was too close to the sidewall. Which this is true it was pretty close to the sidewall, so I understood. My dad ended up talking to the women over the phone when she started trying to sell us 2 TIRES. Which was absurd. Not even ATTEMPTING to put my car onto the lift to check it out first, immediately trying to sell me something. It was very obviously money grab oriented in this shop as there was another employee trying to upsell someone else in the store. We walked out of the store and decided to go to FireStone by the Viewmont mall where we immediately received a polar opposite greeting. The man was very understanding of the situation and said it was close, but they'd look at it first. Turns out... it didn't even puncture my tire. It left a dent that was barely noticeable, it just appeared to the naked eye on the outside that it could be a long nail in my tire. The workers charged me $8 there, instead of the hundreds they were trying to get from me here. Never again. Do not go here, go to Firestone instead unless you want to get ripped off.

  Went for an inspection and accidentally gave them the wrong registration. These people took it upon themselves to search my truck and glovebox without my permission. When asked them why they did they told me they had the right because I left it unlocked. Mind you I had sensitive documents in my glove box. They never found my registration and assured it was not there because they already look. It was there. Unprofessional and disrespectful completely ignorant of the law.

  Kayden and his guys are absolutely amazing!! I came in with some issues and they took care of my SUV! I did some repair work over the weekend and on my drive to work, it felt unstable. I scheduled an appointment when I got to work, and was immediately called to confirm and discuss the issue. When I got out of work, I called to let them know I was a few minutes behind, he assured me that they are here and was more concerned about me getting here safely than anything! He listened to my concerns, gave me great mechanical advice, and did a thorough inspection of my vehicle. Kayden and his team made me feel at ease, and have earned a customer for life! Thanks a million guys!!!
