  First time going here and wow, it really was fast, easy, and cheap. For those who have never been here, what you do is pull up to 1 of the 3 bays (no need to exit the vehicle), if one is open they'll wave you in, someone will ask what you'd like done and they do it right there while you're in the car. They have a thing where oil changes should be under 15 minutes and that's about what mine took. Before going, look online because they always have a half off coupon for oil changes. Then you pay right there at the bay. Full service, conventional oil change came to 31 bucks, I was in and out in about 25 minutes because they were kinda busy. Just a side note, the mechanic Ky was awesome. While my car was being worked on he was going over everything with me and you could tell he was an incredibly knowledgeable and just a nice guy. He showed me my air and cabin filter, and also my dipstick when they were done which I thought was funny. Idefinitely recommend, will return for sure

  Wait was long but they do move quickly. They charged me extra because “‘my oil tank takes more than 5 quarts,” but I still got my $15 discount. They were unable to reinstall my skid plate, and I believe they bumped some wiring underneath as several lights came on my dash about 3 hours after leaving. I took it back the next day and was advised my battery tested “poorly” and that’s why the lights are on. Went out and replaced the battery, lights stayed on dash. Got the code read and was advised it’s a rear wheel speed sensor (strongly believe they messed something up when doing the oil change and weren’t honest). My car had ZERO signs of concerns prior to this oil change. The discount is nice, but I won’t be going back. I’d rather pay full price for service that will be done carefully and correctly.

  I can’t say enough great things about the team at the Reading Valvoline! Shane consistently delivers outstanding service and truly sets the standard for what exceptional customer care should be. As a retail manager myself, I recognize great customer service when I see it, and his is absolutely A1. I keep coming back to this location because of the level of care, integrity, and excellence Shane and his team provide every single visit. They don’t just perform an oil change they genuinely care about their customers’ safety and the health of their vehicles. One experience that really stood out was when Shane noticed a leak in my coolant reservoir and brought it to my attention. Because of his honesty and attention to detail, I took my car to a repair shop right away. It turned out my radiator was busted. There’s no telling how much more damage could have been done if he hadn’t caught it. That kind of integrity and genuine concern for customers is hard to find these days, and I’m incredibly grateful. His leadership is reflected in his team. Today, Kyle and Mason took care of my oil change, and they were just as kind, attentive, and professional. They worked together seamlessly, showing true teamwork while making sure everything was done efficiently and correctly. It’s obvious Shane has built a culture where everyone takes pride in providing outstanding service. Finding people who are honest, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about taking care of their customers is rare, but that’s exactly what you’ll find at the Reading Valvoline. Shane, Kyle, Mason, and the entire team have earned my trust and my loyalty. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for exceptional service from people who genuinely care. They have a customer for life!! :D

  Alfonso, Lucas, Shane, and manager on duty were all extremely helpful and informative! I didn't feel left out of anything and they answered all of my questions! Very satisfied with the service done today! Will absolutely come back and hopefully I get this fabulous same crew!
