- DKDenise KemmererJul 26, 20261.0Scheduled same-day appointment to have tire checked over the 4th of July holiday weekend. It was losing air that day. Darwin found a long, round piece of metal in it. He plugged the tire and I went on my way. That week, I took the car to my own tire shop to be checked, where I found out the one tire stud had been cross threaded! Now, THAT needed to be repaired! Of course, I called Mr. Tire and spoke with Darwin. He told me to bring the car in and he would fix it. Needless to say, I had no intention of letting him touch the car again! The fix required 1.5 hours of labor and @ $20 for parts. Add that to the $30 tire repair. How bad can one person screw up a tire fix? Do yourself a favor and find another place to go!
