After finishing, the technicians verbally told me I needed to return in 1,000 miles for my next oil change, and they printed exactly that on my windshield reminder sticker. Because 1,000 miles is absurdly low for any modern vehicle, I contacted Valvoline Corporate. Corporate confirmed that their actual recommendation is every 3,000 to 5,000 miles and claimed the 1,000-mile sticker was just a "mistake." However, verbally telling a customer 1,000 miles and hard-coding it into the sticker printer feels like a deliberate tactic to get customers to come back and pay for services 3 to 5 times more often than necessary. If you don't know much about cars, do not blindly trust the mileage they give you here trust your mechanic and owner's manual.

As soon as I got out of the car, someone asked me if I needed help, and I explained the issues I was having. They couldn't find the problem at first but said they could do a once-over. Once they found the issue, they explained it to me very clearly and told me how I could prevent it from happening again. They saved me from doing a lot more damage to my car by driving it home. Thomas and the rest of the staff provided excellent, kind, and extremely knowledgeable service. I feel very lucky and extremely grateful that they were able to help me. I highly recommend Valvoline to anyone who needs an oil change or any service for their car.
