  They sent a technician to repair a small chip on my windshield, which could be fully covered by the insurance. Before anything was actually done, the small chip became a huge crack after the technician using a small tool tapping on it. They insisted that there was no human error involved, which to me is a mysterious statement. Now I am left with a huge crack half way through my windshield and have to replace it. When I called up the store, the manager’s attitude was like take it or leave it - you have to pay for the replacement and they could do nothing about it. Her attitude is really annoying and was definitely making you feel you can do nothing but to send them money.

  Fast service and pricing was fair , however dented the frame around window as well as rubber gaskets broken and cut around the Window trim. Showed to technician stated would get a call from Manager never did. Older vehicle fine but wouldn’t bring my newer high end vehicles for service rather pay more and not worry about sloppy work.

  The Safelite shop at 2847 Sawmill Run Blvd in Pittsburgh did the high quality work that the brand is known for. I had about a 3 inch crack in the windshield of my Ford F250, their service technician advised me that simply filling the crack might not be adequate and that replacing the windshield would be better. Safelite coordinated with my insurer for payment and all i had to pay was the deductible. I dropped my truck off and the job was completed less than 2 hours later. When i picked up my truck they advised me to avoid high pressure washes for (i think it was) 72 hours to prevent any chance of leakage. The work was professionally done, i cannot tell the difference between the new windshield and the factory installed one (except the new one is far cleaner), and i am very happy with the entire experience.
