  The staff there was awesome, after getting screwed over by another company, all the people at this Monroe were awesome and for me in for an oil change. The receptionist and the 2 mechanics were very understanding and accommodating, I wish o could remember names but, they help me out and made my day. I highly appreciate and recommend this station.

  Very frustrating visit today at the Store on Library Road Bethel Park PA. Made an Appointment by phone to plug a tire for 7:30 AM. When I arrived the “service person” ( somewhere between snippy and downright nasty) immediately stated “no one will be in to fix the flat until after 8AM”….so I waited until 8 AM. Then the 44.99 oil change that they upsold me on the phone went to $125 because she said the car was “special” and the tire repair would be $54. I said OK (even though I really just wanted the tire repair). About 45 minutes later (oil changed) she shuffled in with the news that they couldn’t plug the tire because “ it was too worn”. Even though the tread was still 4-5/ 32nds (I had it measured later in the day at Sam’s Club Tire Center). So Monroe refused to repair the tire and wanted $1250 for 4 new tires, alignment, etc, (etc huge upsell by their 20 YO “mechanic”). Said the tires were dry rotted (less than 2 years old) by the (19 YO) service person (she made it pretty clear through complaining that she is no favorite of her job/boss at MONROE tire. When I left I stopped at Advanced Auto parts, bought a plug kit for $15 and plugged it myself in 5 minutes. All in all in my opinion this is a shop to watch out for unnecessary upselling, and poor customer experience. Never again.

  The doors were locked when i arrived after their opening time. They thoroughly inspected my car and performed an emmissions test for me. My car needed extensive work which they quoted but it was far more than I wanted to spend or even what the car is worth. The emissions test was reasonably priced. They kept me informed of what was needed so I didnt have to keep checking status. They wouldnt take payment over the phone which was weird.
