These employees knew nothing about vehicles or the parts they were selling. Asked if a universal fitting came greased, they said no, and we bought a grease gun and grease not needing to.

I stopped at the store on Ardmore Blvd/Yost today and had a mixed experience. One employee was on his cellphone while helping a customer, which already didn’t seem very professional. I then approached another young man named Chase B, who was extremely helpful and honestly the only reason I’m giving 5 stars. I was having issues with my oil leaking, and he helped me pick out the correct oil, gave me a code, and even provided me with a funnel. He was patient, respectful, and very customer-oriented. While Chase was checking me out, another employee loudly yelled, “Bro, don’t help her, we don’t do fluids.” I understand there may be store policies about that, but the way it was said came across as unprofessional and embarrassing. I later found out that this employee was actually a manager. He later said it wasn’t anything personal, and I don’t believe it was, but professionalism and customer service still matter. Chase handled the situation far better and showed the kind of customer service that managers should be setting the example for

Every time I go to this store nobody can assist me. I went today to get a battery replaced and the guy said “no I’m not doing that right now without someone else’s help”. If your store is known for and promotes battery installation how do you hire employees who don’t know how to do the job by themselves. Especially something as simple as a battery installation. The time before that I took my car there to get diagnosed and the man handed me the tool and sent me outside to find the person who works on cars. I find him outside smoking a cigarette that he continued to smoke as he looked at my car. He told me there was nothing wrong with it other than the thermostat reading. I took it right to O’Reilly right after because I knew that couldn’t be right and they confirmed that it was a bad alternator. The customer service has always been bad and the workers give off rude energy like they don’t want to work. It seems as though this store hires unqualified workers who barely know what they’re doing. The ignorance overall is ridiculous.

This is the laziest auto zone I have ever been too. I went to this auto zone twice. The first time I went to see if they were able to test my battery an alternator, the guy literally handed me the tool to do it for myself and said go do it. Which I thought was so crazy because obviously I’m a girl and don’t know how to do that. So he did decide to come and was smoking a cigarette while doing it like we couldn’t have blown up. He told me NOTHING was wrong with my battery never check my alternator after I told him the car would not start. I ended up going to another place so they can tell me what was wrong with my car. The next time I went to see if they were able to put my battery in the man told me to my face oh no we don’t not that an I wouldn’t even do that alone your going to have to find someone else. Let’s not forget there sign says the put batteries in for free. I would love to speak to the owner.

Chase B was very helpful using the air compressor helping me fill up my tire also giving me an alternative better option than fix a flat to make sure I was all good. Greatly appreciated.
