- APAmy PetersonMay 15, 20191.0DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE. I brought my vehicle in for a routine inspection. There was nothing wrong with my vehicle when I brought it in. After being looked at, I was told my vehicle had a broken headlight bulb. The worker got me an after market bulb for cheaper and I was waiting for it to get put in. Turns out it ended up being the ballast, not the bulb. I was quoted $832. I reminded them that I had an extended warranty on my vehicle. After review they agreed then told me that I would have to pay a $100 deductible. They did not have the part so I had to reschedule. In the meantime when I got home that day, my drivers side fog light was out. It was working fine before I took my car there. I let them know and they told me they would take a look when I came back in. When I came back to get my headlight fixed, I was then told that they were wrong and it was not the ballast it was something else. They didn’t have that part so I had to reschedule again. When I got home that day, neither of my fog lights were working. I contacted the service department and let him know and he said they would take a look when I came back in. When I returned for the third time they finally fixed my headlight. They tested my fog lights and told me that it’s the bulbs that aren’t working BUT they can’t do anything because I have after market parts in my fog lights. I told him it seemed like quite the coincidence that both of my fog lights broke after they had my vehicle and they were working perfectly fine before I ever drove into this place. He told me it’s not a coincidence and it happens all the time. I constantly heard the workers trying to rip people off with unnecessary maintenance while I was in the waiting room. Monroeville Nissan wants you to think that they care about their customers but all they really care about is ripping people off for their money.
