I came in with a screw in my tire. I had spent 2 hours in 85 degree weather waiting for the roadside assistance who put on the spare. I stopped in Mavis not expecting they’d fix it that day. I was blown away by their kindness when they fixed it quickly and then didn’t even charge me. I know where I’m getting my next set of tires!

I just received amazing experience from Tyler from Mavis Discount Tire from Phoenixville location. My dealership was not true about alignment of my toyota van and failed my state inspection but when brought here after jma free check on tire my state inspection passed. Defining recommend Mavis and ask for Tyler for honest advise

Had someone on the phone tell me my car would be taken care of immediately. Showed up to be told they woulf look at my car when they got around to it. When asked how long they told me an hour or two plus. Go somewhere else i found the tires i needed $85 dollars less each.

Why we can only give a forced positive rating on the review is confusing. I dont even give this company that.
Let that be known.
This was my first and last time ever doing business here.
We wound up here because another well known tire company put the wrong
Size tires on my daughter's car.
We called And spoke to Kim the shop manager who assured us. "Shes got us"
She sure did. She put the same WRONG SIZE tires back on the car.
No look of up on the appropriate tires, no double checking. Simply looking at what was on the car, DESPITE being TOLD by the customer the RIGHT SIZE tire we needed and HOW we wound up there.
we paid, were given the keys and left to leave.
HAD WE NOT checked it OURSELVES we would had been put RIGHT BACK in the situation we Literally just left!
Upon asking what happened, responsibility was dodged completely and blamed else where when I asked for corporates number.
Initially we were told make and brand and price of first set of tires.
When Kim the shop manager REORDERD the right size tire. NOTHING was disclosed to us as far as price, or brand of tire.
But PROMISED to make it right "by having us pay next to nothing" for the mishap.
We had to wait 2 additional days for the tires to be delivered, in addition to the day they put on the first set.
We believed her. 2 days went by. We called TWICE to find out when it would be ready for pick up.
At which point Kim said "while I have you on the phone, the Good year tires came out to $1,031. A WHOOPING DOUBLE in price compared to the $532 for bigger tires! And she can just do a EVEN TRADE!
We showed up to pick up the car.
She said she tossed in a free alignment, which it already had one at the prior place, and we told Kim we didn't need one done.
She was clearly upset, and she let us know, she knew we called corporate on her.
Once the car was ready she sent a mechanic out to hand me the key to the car. NO PAPERWORK willfully given.
I asked the mechanic to which he replied "I dont know, I dont work in sales."
Kim the shop manager sent something to the office printer while she stayed in the shop. The mechanic handed me papers. One consisted of the price mark up on the alignment and the tires, the other didnt mention the specs of "Free Alignment" nor did it mention anything about the price of the new tires.
The mechanic had to bring her into the office for the right paperwork.
She argued the price was $1,031 and she was doing us a favor with the even trade.
But when I asked for the price to be put on my paperwork, she showed me the screen and typed THREE DIFFERENT TIMES, three different costs on the tires ranging from $800 to $700 vastly different from the verbal cost she gave multiple times.
I was told I would receive a call back from the regional manager within 48 hours. I called back the customer service number again to follow up. Again I was told I would be called back. But this time the note on the case was it had been resolved.
Hopefully this company will actually do the appropriate investigation and resolve it.
Sheer negligence on the Shop manager and mechanics end. Another completely avoidable situation.
But to add insult to injury, to inflate a price to a delusional cost to make the customer believe you're cutting them a deal is beyond unprofessional amongst other things protecting a consumer. To document another COMPLETELY different price is wild.
Let me add that the shop ALSO charged me $14 for disposal of my tires I PHYSICALLY RETURNED to the first shop that put on the WRONG tires.
BUYER BEWARE.
I will be following up again with hope, of a resolution.
