Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

The people were very friendly, helpful and informative. The service was not rushed and I was provided with a safety check to make sure that my vehicle was safe before the alignment was completed. I would return and recommend Mavis to others. Thank you very much for your service today!

I had a great experience with the crew at Mavis Tire's Hunting Park location. Even though we arrived late for our appointment, they were accommodating and got us taken care of without any issues. The team changed all four of our tires quickly and efficiently, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. Their professionalism, speed, and excellent customer service were greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable tire service.

WARNING: If you not going for tires do not go here, they will waste your time, lie to you, and make your car issues even worse. They inspected my car but also found repairs that amounted to thousands of dollars before they could pass it for inspection. This was a 2 weekend event and of course they wanted me to come back in the next weekend after wasting my time the first weekend just so they could have a high value repair/ticket. They said they would provide discounts, the manager sat there and lied in my face about discounts saying they were applied when they clearly weren’t according to the paper work. You could tell he was lying on the spot and just making stuff up in order to get out of the situation and get back to work. They ultimately passed the vehicle for inspection. I then took the vehicle to a different shop (not Mavis) and they found so many issues and said the vehicle should not be driven. This Mavis location took thousands of dollars for me and returned my car to me in worse condition then when I initially brought it in. They do not care about making your vehicle safe they just want your money. DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE CROOKS THAT DONT KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING.

My experience with Mavis Discount Tire in Philadelphia was absolutely terrible. I honestly don’t have better words to describe it.
I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday, May 26 at 9:00 AM. I arrived around 9:15 AM and was immediately told that the tires I had ordered were not there yet. They asked me to come back at 10:30 AM. After that, I had to personally call multiple times just to follow up on the status of the tires.
Around 1:00 PM, I finally received a call saying the tires had arrived and that I could come in. I returned around 1:30 PM and then waited until 3:45 PM, only to be told that one of the brand-new tires was “faulty” and they couldn’t mount it on the wheel. They said they would order a replacement tire, so I left Tuesday still dealing with a flat tire.
I was told someone would call me Wednesday when the new tire arrived. Nobody called. I had to follow up yet again myself, and when I did, I was told the tire was there but that they were “too busy” in a very uninterested and dismissive tone. At that point, I decided to come back Thursday instead.
Thursday was somehow even worse. I had to explain the entire situation at least three separate times because the employee at the counter kept getting distracted — talking to a friend or taking unrelated calls instead of helping customers. After another 3+ hour wait, they finally installed the tire.
Here’s the unbelievable part: it turned out to be the SAME “faulty” tire from Tuesday — the exact tire they claimed couldn’t be mounted and supposedly needed replacement. So either they lied about ordering a new tire or completely mismanaged the entire situation.
This place is on another level of disorganized. Chaotic operation, terrible communication, excessive wait times, and nobody seems to know what’s going on or care about the customers.
Never again. Horrible experience.
