Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.
We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.

Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.
Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

I went to this Mavis location for a routine oil change, and they mistakenly drained the transmission fluid instead of the oil.
They acknowledged the mistake and refilled the transmission fluid themselves. Later, I took the car to Subaru for an inspection and specifically asked them to double-check everything because of what had happened. Subaru found that the transmission fluid was still low and recommended that it be properly drained and refilled.
I went back to Mavis and explained Subaru’s findings. Mavis agreed that they would cover the cost of having Subaru correct the issue. I told them in advance that the service would be just under $500, and they confirmed that they would pay Subaru directly over the phone.
The final bill was $455.65.
After Subaru completed the service, I sat at the dealership for approximately five hours while repeatedly calling Mavis. I was repeatedly told that payment would be handled shortly. It never was. Eventually, I had to pay the full $455.65 myself just so I could leave.
What is most frustrating is that this was not simply a disagreement over responsibility. Mavis caused the original issue, attempted to correct it, Subaru later found the transmission fluid was still low, and Mavis then explicitly agreed to pay for Subaru to correct it. Despite that, I was left waiting for hours and ultimately had to cover the bill myself.
I have documentation from Subaru, the final invoice, proof of payment, and records of my calls. I would strongly recommend keeping detailed documentation of any service performed here and not relying solely on verbal assurances.

I had an outstanding experience thanks to both Brian and Brian. They made what could have been a stressful process smooth, honest, and reassuring.
One Brian kept me informed every step of the way. He was kind, professional, and made sure I always knew what was going on with my vehicle. His communication and customer service were exceptional.
The other Brian went above and beyond during my inspection. He noticed that one of my tires was in very dangerous condition, and instead of simply telling me, he took the time to show me exactly what was wrong. I truly appreciated his honesty. At no point did I feel like he was trying to sell me something I didn’t need. Instead, he treated me and my car as if it were his own, putting my safety first. That level of integrity is hard to find these days.
Both of them demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. Because of their honesty and excellent service, I left feeling confident that my car was in good hands. They are a true asset to your team, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy automotive service.

This was my second visit to Mavis Discount Tire on Hunting Park Avenue, and once again, they exceeded my expectations! A few months ago, I purchased a full set of four tires, and the experience was so positive that I knew I'd come back when I needed more work done.
As a first-time car owner and a woman, I'm always a little nervous about going to auto repair shops because it's easy to worry about being taken advantage of. From the moment I walked in, though, the staff treated me with kindness, honesty, and respect. By coincidence, I had the same team working on my car as my first visit, and they were just as friendly, professional, and efficient.
It's rare to find an auto shop that consistently provides excellent customer service while making you feel comfortable and confident in the work being done. I already know I'll be returning for future repairs because I trust they'll always treat me fairly. If you're looking for honest, reliable, and fast service, I highly recommend the Mavis on Hunting Park Avenue. They've definitely earned a loyal customer!

My elderly mother needed new tires. She lives in Phildelphia and I live in NJ. She was concerned about traveling to me to purchase the tires and have them mounted by a trusted Mavis Tire near me. So I scheduled the appointment online and called the shop to confirm. During that discussion I told the person what tires were needed. More importantly, I disclosed that the appointment was for my elderly mother who has some physical impairments. The worker assured me she would be well taken care of. That is the opposite of what happened. The appointment was at 10am. The work was completed at 2:30-3:00pm. During which time the staff attempted to upsale my mother for items unrelated to her visit. She was told her car was done at 12pm. This was not true as the front desk staff member had the wrong car. Nevertheless, I was called to pay for the service, which was extremely frustrating bc the staff member had to input the information in several times before getting it right. A few minutes later my mother called me to tell me it was not her car and the payment was for another customer. The staff gave me my mother's bill which required me to give them my payment information on the phone a third time. However, it was latter explained to me that I overpaid and the bill needed to be addressed by placing a credit on the card. I gave them my information for the fourth time. My mother said the staff was unconcerned about the four hour wait time. She reiterated that she made an appointment with the expectation she would be served on or near that time. She said they were unapologetic and lacked empathy. When I was on the phone with them with similar complaints, I received similar lack of concern.
