Got there at 4:06, they close at 5. The guy who does the inspection said he did not want to do it because it was past four and he he’s the only one that does inspections there. It was not busy they were watching TV. Clearly, these were employees. Inspections don’t take one hour.

Noticed I had a nail in my tire as I was passing on I95. Immediately I got off the highway and navigated to Mavis on Aramingo Ave. They were unable to repair/patch the tire so I had to get a new tire. Mavis provided me three options for a new tire. I was in and out in less than an hour, which I was thankful for as I was on my way to a location outside the city! The staff were super friendly and supportive, as a woman I really appreciated that!

As I was driving away from my house on my way to work, my flat tire indicator lights popped up, my driver's side rear tire was showing at 1%. Not a great way to start a rainy workday, so my husband followed me to Mavis. We arrived before the facility was open for business. The staff on duty tended to my car immediately and got us on our way in under an hour. They were knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. Would highly recommend the Aramingo Mavis facility.

It’s a true miracle that this store has anything above 2 stars based on my experience. Scheduled a state inspection for 10am and was told it would be about an hour. Over an hour went by when I finally asked on an ETA in my car. The man behind the counter acted as if he was inconvenienced by my question, stating that my car “was next.” I asked about the purpose of an appointment time if I had already waited the estimated hour and was met with a “I only have one inspector and two people were in front of you since I opened at 9” in an exasperated attitude. Well the plot twist is that this man didn’t even accurately notate my ticket, so the inspector had been working on the wrong car the entire time; turns out he hadn’t done his one job while giving me an attitude. When I asked for my keys to leave, he just said “take it.” Not only was my entire afternoon wasted, I now have to take leave from work to get this inspection done in time.
I’ve never experienced such incompetence and distasteful service for my vehicle until today. I only feel bad for the inspector who was just as surprised by this oversight.
