Arrived late for a weekend trip and found this spot on google map. We entered the parking lot with my credit card as the parking ticket but then saw that the online pricing was way more affordable so tried to book a ticket online for the entire weekend. The online reservation QR code ended up not working, and no one was at the booth nor did the phone get picked up since it was late. Thankfully, we called the number again first thing the next morning, and Mr. Smith was understanding and asked us to email him the online reservation info for him to process a refund for us. 😮‍💨 The lesson learned here is if you’re coming outside of business hours, don’t bother booking online because the machine will not read your QR code.

The name “1818 Market Garage” is misleading, we ended up wasting 25 minutes finding the correct location and missed our appointment.

Very reasonable weekend rate and convenient location, a short walk to Rittenhouse Square. The garage is in an office building, with people in the lobby near the payment machines, so it felt safe. The garage was also clean. I had a duplicate charge issue after my SpotHero QR code did not scan, but Steven, the Facilities Manager, was very helpful and processed my refund quickly. I really appreciated his excellent customer service.

We had an awful and unacceptable experience at this parking facility today. The parking garage was recommended for its price as we were having brunch in Rittenhouse Square after the Broad Street Run. The price was very reasonable but that’s the only positive we can give. There were problems with the ticket scanners, so we used the pay by phone, got the QR code that payment was successful but the exit scanner wouldn’t read the ticket and QR code. We tried two different exit machines and two different customer assistance folks. It took over 25 minutes and a great deal of stress and frustration from us and repeating our ticket number and scanner failure. Finally they got someone remotely who opened the gate. Horrible customer service! Then they wanted to charge us a late fee since we had passed the 15 minutes allowed to exit after payment! This was not our fault that it took them almost 30 minutes to get the gate to open. They did not charge us the late fee. Unacceptable! Fix your scanners!!

LAZ has two garages in close proximity. The entrance to the 1818 Market St garage is off of 19th street between Market and Ludlow. Google maps has you turn on Market when coming from the north...
