SPRINGTIME MAINTENANCE FOR SMOOTH RIDES AHEAD

Batteries

Cold weather takes its toll on batteries. Now that winter is behind us, stop by for a free battery check to make sure your car has the power for smooth operation in the springtime weather. If you need a new one, we carry batteries with proven tough coverage from Duralast, plus performance options like Optima and Odyssey and economical buys from Valucraft. We have everything you need to keep your car powered all year long.

Brakes

Springtime brings sunny days and much needed rain. Stop on a dime year round with brake system maintenance. Reliable stopping starts at AutoZone. Get Duralast brakes that meet or exceed OE, economical options from Valucraft, or performance brakes from Brembo, EBC, and more.

Motor Oil

When the temperature warms up the oil in your vehicle thins, which can strain your engine if too thin. When shopping oil for warmer months, use thicker oil. It is recommended to change your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

Windshield Wipers

Windshield Wiper Blades should be replaced every six months to a year. A fresh set of wiper blades are important for spring months. Cool conditions can make dirt, pollen, and water more stubborn to wipe away, increasing the wear and tear on your wipers.

The manager there is rude. I have a commercial account and wanted to replace a battery—my car's battery was dead—but she refused to replace it and told me to go to the place where I bought it. I do not recommend keeping this manager there.

I placed an online order and, unfortunately, I was given the wrong items. While I understand this particular branch was not responsible for the original fulfillment error, the customer service I received when I attempted to resolve the issue was very disappointing. The representative assisting me appeared to be more focused on fulfilling another online order than helping the customer standing in front of her. During my return transaction, she walked away to retrieve motor oil for another customer who was not even in the store or actively being assisted. When she finally returned, she immediately told me I would need to go back to the original store where I picked up the order. I was already aware that I had received the wrong items—that is precisely why I was there. Transporting heavy brake rotors is not easy, and I had already experienced significant inconvenience because of this mistake. As a result of receiving the incorrect parts, I spent an additional hour at my mechanic’s shop and incurred unexpected expenses because I had to purchase replacement parts so the repair could be completed. Now, on top of the time and money I’ve already lost due to an employee error, I am being expected to drive approximately 25 minutes to another store to return merchandise that was incorrectly provided to me. What I find especially frustrating is that the same system that allowed an employee to hand me the wrong items is now preventing another store from accepting the return because it would create an inventory discrepancy. That places the burden of correcting the company’s mistake entirely on the customer. I understand that policies exist for inventory control, but there should also be flexibility when the error was caused by the company. Customers should not have to absorb additional time, travel, and financial costs to correct a mistake that was not their own.

I had an emergency/ accident and had to visit the Autozone twice this week. The staff and the manager were so knowledgeable and helpful to me. I would be remiss if I didn't take the time to publicly say "Thank You".

Very unprofessional in terms of following through with a job. I ordered Air sensor for vehicle and that part had to be delivered to AutoZone in 2 days. Why has it taken over 2 weeks for a 2 day delivery job. Of course it’s not their fault because FedEx should take blame especially since it only takes a little to follow through and since I kept being met with excuses, I kindly asked for a refund and was fuming mad!!!! Mind you it’s just a sensor, but I needed that sensor and for 2 whole weeks, I was out of a car. This is pathetic! If I could have given -9 stars, I would have. Even the store manager was nonchalant. You would think a manager would at least be proactive. This is one of the most unprofessional stores I’ve ever dealt with and I highly recommend you don’t shop at this AutoZone, (9th & Girard) This is the worst store ever!
