I took the battery to Advace Auto parts so they could exchange the battery. ADVANCE AUTO PARTS DON'T WANT TO EXCHANGE THE BATTERY OR RETURN MY MONEY, SO IM STUCK WITH A DEAD, NOT WORKING BATTERY AND $243.35 LESS IN MY BANK ACCOUNT. THEY ALSO MAKE ME RETURN FOR 3 DAYS TO JUST LET ME KNOW I WON'T BE GETTING MY MONEY BACK. ADVANCE AUTO PARTS POLICY WILL TRICK YOU TO SELL YOU BAD STUFF AND THEIR RETUR POLICY WILL ROB YOU. DONT GO THERE. PROF OF THE READING OF THE BAD BATTERY UNDER.

Not the 1st time this happened, needless to say I did walk out. Another sale and another customer lost over stupidity.

Very impressed with that level of customer service. They usually have most everything I need for my cars from repair parts to paint, oil, and electrical parts. Happy they are local.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
