I just got a flat tire outside of literally two of your competitors businesses in the Northtown area. I called both of them well before their closing time and no one would help me. I called Mavis tire only 1 mile away from where I got a flat tire I limped my car over to Mavis where I was immediately helped. They had the tire I needed in the size I needed and my car was being repaired well before I even sat down in the waiting room, Dave Custer, and the crew at 402 Egypt Rd., Norristown are hands-down some of the best thanks guys!

I gave this company a one star review because the situation is egregious. I thought about not leaving a review at all in case I had another flat tire and I needed them but the fact that they tried to replace parts on my vehicle that didn’t need replacing is as close to theft as I can imagine. I had a flat tire and I took my car to Mavis on Egypt Road. I asked how much it would cost to fix a flat. The gentleman said $29 which I’ll get to you later. I received a phone call about an hour later telling me that the back shocks which aren’t shocked at all from what I understand, their struts and the back tires on the car need to be replacing and it would be around $1800. The manager didn’t know that I own a construction company with a fleet of trucks and I took the car home and then took it to my auto repair center that are a full-fledged inspection station, car and truck repair center. I just got my car back after getting it inspected. All it needed were wiper blades! I Purposely asked for them to look at the back struts and the tires on the car and they told me they are fine. There’s nothing wrong with them that they are good for another year and maybe for another inspection. The only conclusion that I can come up with is that Mavis Tire purposely tries to deceive customers when I just needed a simple tire fixed. The gentleman wanted me to spend $1800. Thank goodness I am associated with a large company with a service center and my guys would not allow me or My wife to drive in a vehicle that wasn’t 100%. So I guess the moral of the story is they either had the wrong car when they called me or they were trying to rip me off with fixing something on the car that didn’t need fixing.
As far as the flat tire goes. The gentleman told me it would cost $29 plus tax. When I got there to pick up the car, it was $39 plus tax probably because I didn’t allow them to do the repair work that they suggested. If I could give this companies zero stars I would. I hate giving bad reviews because I realize that this affects the people that work at the place as well as the managers and the company enlarge but the fact is they were trying to Rip me off by fixing / replacing some parts on the car that did not need replacing. Most people that own vehicles like myself don’t know what goes into the vehicle and what it needs, but I rely on Service stations to be honest! The fact that they were not is very disturbing And whenever institution that checks on service station should check on this one and most likely in my opinion, yank their license.
