  I had a very bad experience in this store today! I would like to report an employee who was a white, heavyset male with a beard. He was rude and dismissive, and his behavior came across as racially biased. When I asked what type of oil my car needed, he told me to pop my own hood and look because they can’t help me and their system doesn’t allow them to tell customers what stuff a specific car needs. Another employee kindly helped me, and the heavyset guy appeared visibly upset that I received assistance. If you can’t help customers equally no matter who they are you shouldn’t be working in customer service!

  Friendly staff, very attentive and helpful went into the store walked around for a minute while there was a line and once the line was finished one of the female workers Courtney I think came up to me and showed me which oil filter I needed and knew right where it was she also assisted one of the younger staff with finding parts behind the counter nicest autozone I’ve been to in a while

  My first AutoZone experience in pennsylvania was filled with prejudice, ism, and racism!!!! I went there with an old battery that needed to be changed. Went to the Mount Pocono Spoke to Courtney, and she immediately came out and said she could not change our battery and offer us a mobile mechanic that must’ve been a relative of hers!! There was no coercion and there was no box around the battery. She just simply said due to new policies in AutoZone she cannot change my battery so I called Moscow AutoZone and Joe change my battery with no problem and Courtney At the Mount Pocono Automatically refused to change our battery because we’re are brown people And that’s how I feel never had this problem in any AutoZone in New Jersey

  I’m from New York, but I was in the Poconos for a family trip the other night when the battery in my car started acting up and needed to be jumped several times just to keep the car running. Thankfully, there was an AutoZone nearby, so my family and I hurried over after seeing online that the store was closing soon. We actually made it there about two minutes before closing! I was really impressed with how helpful the two employees working that night, Mikey and Dylan, were. They helped me figure out what type of battery my car needed and even tested the battery in the car to make sure that was actually the problem. They were very knowledgeable and helped me locate the battery, which, for some reason, was underneath my passenger seat. After I went inside the store, my car wouldn’t start again. Thankfully, they had a machine that allowed them to jump the vehicle so I could move the seat and get access to the battery. Because of where the battery was located, they explained that they couldn’t physically replace it for me due to company policy, but they stayed with me throughout the entire process and walked me through exactly what I needed to do. They also helped me notice that there was a leak somewhere in the car that was causing water to collect around the battery, which they explained was likely what caused the battery to fail in the first place. What really stood out to me was that, even though they ended up helping me well past the time they expected to close, neither of them seemed annoyed or frustrated. They were genuinely focused on making sure my problem was taken care of and that I was able to get back on the road safely. I’m extremely pleased with the service I received. If I’m ever in the Mount Pocono area again and need anything for my car, I know I’ll be stopping at this AutoZone. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for an auto parts store with knowledgeable employees who genuinely care about their customers. Mikey and Dylan went above and beyond to help me, and I really appreciate it!
