I had an outstanding experience at the Mavis Discount Tire location in Middletown, Pennsylvania. While traveling with a rental car, I discovered a nail in one of the tires and stopped in without an appointment, hoping they might be able to help.
Cameron took care of me from the moment I arrived. He gathered my information, secured my key, and assured me they would take care of it. The very next morning, the tire was repaired and, to my surprise, they didn’t charge me for the urgent repair.
That level of customer service is rare today. Cameron and the entire team treated me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care, even though I wasn’t a regular customer and was driving a rental vehicle.
I sincerely appreciate everything they did. They turned what could have been a stressful travel situation into a great experience. I give this location my highest recommendation and would absolutely trust them with any future tire or vehicle service needs. Thank you, Cameron, and the entire Mavis team!

Fantastic service which is very hard to find. They were super busy yet incredibly patient. Cameron was top tier!! As a woman, going to an auto shop alone can be intimidating. He was incredibly respectful and took the time to explain everything my vehicle needed and why. If his employees have half of his customer service/kindness I’ll never be going anywhere else!! Honest car repairs!

DO NOT take your vehicles here.Wife got a flat on her way to work as this place was 5 miles away. They tried to give a free tire plug for a good review...... I WOULD HAVE PAID THE 35 DOLLARS FOR COMPETENCE NOW I HAVE TO MAKE A SECOND APPOINTMENT AND TAKE IT TO ANOTHER GARAGE BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T PLUG A TIRE???? ITS A TIRE SHOP!!!!!!! Why was I NOT informed the tech messed the tire up and tried to fix it making the hole 10x bigger? They DESTROYED my tire trying to patch a tiny pin hole and now I'll have to take it to a real garage to try have it patched. Upon looking at it and cutting the excess off I dont know if it can even be repaired.... If the tire cannot be fixed I'll be in contact for a free replacement tire immediately or be suing this garage for damaging my vehicle.

A couple of years ago, I brought my car in for spark plugs & air filter to be changed. The car was running 100% fine when I brought it in. Several hours later, they came to me & said they blew out 2 sets of spark plugs & can't get my car to run. Then they finally put another set of plugs in. I ran the car down the road & lost almost all power & compression immediately. I managed to get the car to CRAWL back to Mavis in Middletown where this was happening & they blamed me & said I had picked out cheap spark plugs & that it was the car's fault because they didn't do anything wrong. They proceeded to tell me they can't get the car to run & that it would need to be towed. I called my dealership & told them I was having it towed there & told them what happened. Thankfully my insurance covered enough miles to get me to the dealership for free. The tow truck driver told me he has towed many cars out of that place that they messed up! So, the dealership got back to me the next day and told me the air filter was in wrong and that the spark plugs weren't down in their sockets properly or tightened in. The whole issue caused my car then to overheat & warped some stuff in the engine & caused it to burn oil like crazy, which it never had before! The Manager at Mavis told me he looked at the video footage of the work being done & couldn't find anything done wrong. He gave me a voucher for $850 towards the almost $3000 it cost at the dealership to have it back there a 2nd time too! So, I went to use the voucher at another Mavis & the manager there told me he's not allowed to honor such a high amount and that he would look into it. He also said that the manager from Mavis had not even given me an activated voucher, so even the voucher was a scam too! I had told them previously that I wouldn't give them a bad review, because they had always done my oil changes & put new tires on, but I'm sorry to say that whoever did whatever they did to my car at that shop and then the manager sticking up for him, makes me decide to write a terrible review for that shop. Other than that, the Manager at Middletown became increasingly rude to me & kept denying that his crew could've done any of this stuff. I would advise people to realize that the mechanics there really don't know how to do much above an oil change, and not even an air filter. Be careful if you go there, because I really think they either hire people who don't know what they are doing, or that somehow might even mess up your engine or car on purpose. Who knows! But, I know I will never step foot in that place again unless God Himself forces me to!
