  Have used Alamo several times put of Punta Gorda airport. Check in varies, from slow and miserable to wonderful, but depends on the employee that day. Cars vary too from wonderful to dirty and kack of features. The last Mitsubishi I got stuck with was awful. No blind spot monitoring! ( Have not owned a car without that feature since 2019) Something all over the windshield that made it difficult to see when driving at night. Bought paper towels, window cleaner and had to go over it several times to get it clean. Today, tried to do accelerated check in for my upcoming rental. My DOB on file was incorrect, so I could not proceed. Took 3 phone calls and a chat session to correct. The last phone call before my chat session, I was told that it could not be fixed! The previous calls resulted in me being told it was fixed, but it was not. The chat session worked. What a waste of my morning! And, while I do understand that people who speak another language have accents (my family is not from this country), I could barely understand these customer service representatives. So when it works, it's great. But when it doesn't...good luck! I would hate to have a serious problem other than dirty cars and incorrect DOB and have to deal with these people.

  Such a great experience in Harrisburg with this company. A broken wrist made lifting almost impossible for me so they found me the lowest car available. Upon return, Cherri was at the desk - she is one of the most considerate and helpful people to be working at a rental car company. BTW, the car was terrific, too!

  I had multiple air travel changes due to flight cancellations and delays and Alamo accommodated me and people were friendly, professional and helpful, particularly at DCA! Also over the phone I spoke to very helpful people. Thank you Alamo for making my trip much better!

  I've been trying to rent a car for three days! Alamo had me set up for a 2pm pick up! Got a call at 8:30 telling me they have no cars! Bullshit, what they found a way to put the cart in front of the horse! It don't work...thanks for not putting your customers first! Will never deal with you again!
