Oil is the lifeblood of every standard vehicle on the road. It's crucial to regularly check your oil and schedule oil change service for your car to ensure it runs properly. Regular service also allows us to check for leaks in your engine that could shorten your vehicle's lifespan and lead to other avoidable problems.
Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.
We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.
Proper wheel and tire alignment helps your car's tires last longer, increases fuel economy, and improves your vehicle's handling. Our highly-trained tire alignment experts are ready to provide you the reliable, quality service you need to get back on the road.
Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.
Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

I was in the middle of traveling for work, and got a nail in my tire. They helped ease my stress and assured me they would be able to take care of it. The service was quick and great. The bathroom, inside and outside the store was clean. Thank you for such a smooth and stressful experience!

I brought my son’s Challenger for a busted tire. We had to tow it in. The staff were very efficient, and had us all out in less than 30 mins. They have always been very professional, attended to the issue at hand and worked with integrity. I highly recommend the Mavis at Strand St in Matamoras, PA. Very satisfied with the service. I was fully ready to purchase & have installed 4 top-of-the-line Michelin tires for my SUV via a vendor conveniently located near the place of my employment. I advised my wife of when & where I was going to do this & she was admanent that I cancel my appointment & instead, go to Mavis Discount Tire in Matamoras. She offered that she had a great experience there & as it's always good to keep harmony at home, I agreed to follow her advice. AM I GLAD I DID! The eaxct tires I wanted were all in stock & ready for immediate installation & -- thanks to Manager Tom-- purchased at a discounted price double of what my initial vendor offered. And to top that off, I was able to arrange a cost-effective oil change, + an additional mileage-directed maintenance service AND a state inspection while the car was there, Assistant Managers Deana & Randall oversaw the work & made sure the very experienced mechanics addressed a couple of concerns that I had shared with them prior to the vehicle being pulled into the bay,
The experience was AWESOME & I would advise anyone wanting 5-star service at an amazingly fair price offered by customer-oriented & highly skilled automotive professionals to not waste time & money elsewhere, but go directly to Mavis Discount Tire on Strand Street in Matamoras, PA!
