I highly recommend Safelite. The technician was very professional and thorough in replacing my windshield. They came to my house for the installation which was very convenient. They answered all of my questions, and left everything spotless. I would definitely use Safelite again.

The technician that helped me out was on time, respectful, answer all my questions, and proceeded to do the work in a timely manner. giving me peace of mind through this whole process. Also walked me through all the work they did I appreciated that

It's almost shocking how poorly operated this place is. They came the first time and had the incorrect glass for my windshield, which I didn't hold against them. They said someone would call me to reschedule, but no one ever called. I just got a text message for an appointment reminder a week or so later, so apparently they just scheduled the appointment for me, but I made it work. My appointment came and went and no one showed up. I tried calling the Lancaster location, but there is no way to speak with a person, only automation. After spending a fair amount of time tracking down an actual corporate customer service number and waiting on hold, I was told they got ahold of the shop and the appointment had been cancelled because the windshield arrived broken. No one had bothered to tell me that. I was assured someone would reach out to talk to me and reschedule, but that didn't happen. Instead I just received another text message that an appointment had been scheduled without consulting me. Once again, I made it work and waited through the four hour appointment window, but no one showed up or called again. I called the corporate customer service number, and they tried to call the shop for an explanation but said no one was answering there. I'm really not sure where to go from here, but it seems clear that Safelite is incapable of actually replacing my windshield.

Windshield was replaced and the tech was friendly, however the trim on the A pillars were not installed properly and the wires were exposed and they also didn’t vacuum up the glass on my seats or dashboard even though it said on the receipt the vehicle has been vacuumed.

I broke the one half of my back glass on my truck while I was moving out of my home. I talked to my insurance company and they recommended safelite. I called the company and explained that the drivers side portion of my back glass was broken and that I would need my backglass replaced. you would think I was speaking a foreign language to this lady. Ill never get those 30 minutes of my life back. either way the lady scheduled me, gave me a quote, and said it would take about an hour. some time later (unsure exact amount of time because im still moving out of my house) I get a phone call and its Safelite. They basically say that everything I was told except for the actual scheduled date was wrong and that it would be more expensive, take longer, and they would have to keep it all day. so I drop it off the night before and they were nice enough to keep it inside overnight since its in the not so great part of Lancaster and it was supposed to rain. For this they earned a singular star. around 4pm the day that my truck was supposed to be done I start trying to call to find out if my truck is done so I can get back to moving out of my house. my only option was to talk to a computer that told me everything can be done online but if I wanted to speak with a live person to wait on the line for the next available representative. I waited, and after it rang twice, a computer started saying that my only option to manage my services is online and then hung up. 10 more minutes of my life ill never get back. so I go to the web adress the computer gave me and spent an hour trying to figure out if my truck was done or not with no success. I finally got a text message around 9pm saying my truck was completed and that I could come pick it up. im gonna go out on a limb and say that no one was at my local Safelite store at 9pm. first thing in the morning, that next day, I had my dad run up and pick it up for me since I was preoccupied with other Schenanighans. when he went to check out, they tried charging him the full price for the work instead of the deductible set by my insurance company. once I got the truck back I started checking everything out since this process had been far from smooth and efficient. I went to open my back glass and there was still glass in the track of my slider and jammed up the slider and locked up the motor that moves it. took me 20 minutes of chipping away the broken glass to free up the slider. I continued to look over everything and I noticed there was a deep scratch that I haven't noticed before on the side of my bed right by the back glass they just replaced. I cant prove that it was scratched by them because I dont have any quality pictures of that area before the service but im 90% confident it was them. overall I would rate my experience a 0 out of 5 stars but because they agreed to lock up my truck in their shop overnight I gave them 1 star. either way, ill be asking my insurance company if any other options for glass replacement are available before going back here. even if it costs me more.
