I was there to buy a battery for my vehicle and they said they couldn't put the battery in it but I called the Willow Street one and they said that they can do it for me. They might as well close the Quarryville Advance Auto Parts down cuz then people in there or just so lazy they don't want to do their job

Should have told me that before I bought it. So I call around to 2 other locations. The first (Quarryville) tells me that they won’t do it because I didn’t buy it at that location AND that it’s 11 degrees out so they won’t do it. I called another location (Lancaster) they said they could do it but it wouldn’t be for 2 hours. I ended up just going to my regular mechanic and they told me that it isn’t even the right battery! Seriously disappointed with Advance.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
