- MBMike BeckettAug 21, 20261.0I made a reservation with Enterprise in Kittanning, PA to pick up a rental car at 2:00 PM. I realized I would be arriving earlier than expected, so I went to Enterprise directly and moved my reservation up two hours to 12:00 PM. I received an email confirmation showing that the change was confirmed and everything was good to go. I arrived at the Kittanning location at 11:45 AM on a Friday, only to find ZERO employees at the location. The lights were off, the doors were locked, and there was absolutely no one there. I immediately called Enterprise customer service, and unfortunately, they told me there was nothing they could do other than modify my reservation to another location. The next closest location was an hour away. I am out of state, without a vehicle, and had specifically arranged to be dropped off at Enterprise so I could pick up my rental. Instead, I am now stranded outside a locked building with no rental car and no real solution from Enterprise. What makes this even worse is that while I was waiting, two additional customers arrived to pick up rentals and were also unable to get service. If Enterprise allows customers to make and modify reservations for a specific location, that location needs to actually be open and staffed during the confirmed reservation time. This was an incredibly frustrating and unacceptable experience, especially while traveling out of state. I would strongly recommend not using this location and use the next closest one. A confirmed reservation apparently means very little when there is nobody there to honor it.
