  Great service and awesome crew. Took me right in for a flat and helped me beyond belief. Jade and his crew went above and beyond to ensure that I made it on time for work. A1 customer service and communication. Clean shop and knowledgeable staff. Would recommend to anyone!

  I had a very questionable experience with Mavis in Dallas. I originally went there for a state inspection, only to be told they didn’t have anyone available to inspect vehicles and that I needed to take my truck to their Kingston location instead. After being sent to the Kingston shop, I was told my truck failed inspection. What concerned me was that I had already taken my truck to a mechanic beforehand and had it thoroughly checked over. This mechanic does not perform state inspections, but he goes through vehicles to make sure they are safe, ready, and will pass a PA inspection station. Because of that, I was surprised by the issues Mavis claimed they found. I decided to get a second opinion at another inspection station, and my truck passed without any problems. I was told there was nothing wrong with it. This experience left me questioning Mavis’ inspection process. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any repairs. Customers should be cautious when a shop claims parts are bad or need to be replaced, especially when another inspection shows the vehicle is fine. I expected an honest and fair state inspection, but this experience left me very disappointed and concerned about their practices.

  My experience was amazing! I would rate my experience 10 stars if it was possible. Jade had amazing customer service and was very knowledgeable about my vehicle. He was friendly and professional. The tech staff were all excellent and helpful as well. Very small wait time! In and out. I love bringing my car to Mavis because they can always get to the bottom of my issues where other service places struggle. Amazing day!

  I’ve been coming to Mavis for a few years now, super friendly and knowledgeable staff every single visit. Came in this time for routine maintenance on brakes. They were honest and upfront about my pads being good. They also had me back in the bay pointed out that I had some worn rotors and a few different leaks I was unable to see since I don't have a car lift! always super grateful for the help, kindness and honesty of the staff. On a Saturday nonetheless

  I had an 8:00 a.m. appointment for a state inspection because I specifically wanted to get in and out before starting my day. I handed my keys to the employee at the front desk at 8:01 a.m. and asked how long it would take. I was told, “Not long at all.” After waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes, my vehicle had still not even been brought into the shop for the inspection. During that entire time, I watched multiple employees take three to four smoke breaks, two employees stood around on their phones doing nothing, and one vehicle remained on the lift for well over an hour. I asked the front desk employee three separate times how much longer it would be, and every time I was told, “Just a few more minutes.” Those “few minutes” turned into over an hour, with absolutely no progress on my vehicle. A Pennsylvania state inspection typically takes around 30–45 minutes, yet my car wasn’t even moved into the bay. When I finally asked for my keys back so I could leave, the employee at the front desk told me he “didn’t know what was taking them so long.” That’s not an acceptable answer from the person responsible for managing the front of the shop. The lack of communication, urgency, and professionalism was extremely disappointing. If there are delays, be honest with your customers instead of repeatedly telling them “just a few more minutes.” Respecting people’s time should be a priority. Ironically, I left this location a five-star review about a year ago because I had such a great experience. Unfortunately, things have clearly changed. I’ll be deleting that review because the level of service I experienced today was completely unacceptable. I won’t be returning, and I cannot recommend this location to anyone looking for reliable, professional service.
