If I could give negative stars, I would. Where to begin…
I went to this Autozone to get new batteries for my car keys, coolant and oil.
- the batteries— one of the workers took my keys and took it upon herself to open them up and replace the batteries. I watched her dismantle the one car key via jamming a screwdriver up into it and even asked if it was going no longer work… to which she tried to assure me “it was fine.” I go home, the light on the key lights up, but the car does not respond. After a day, the light stops lighting up too. I flipped the battery around, everything.. no luck. Took it back per the manager, George, telling me to do so on the day I was promised he would be there, but guess who called out? Guess who is dodging my phone calls? George.
- the coolant— one of the workers insisted I get the most expensive and specific coolants available, even though I asked if universal coolant made more sense given I don’t know what is in my car. He insisted again, so I bought it. Got home, and the colors did not match (this can destroy your car), so I went back to return it. They did the return… yet here we are, 3 business days later and no sight of the money being returned to my account.
I had to contact the district manager to help because whenever I tried to explain my situation, I was told it was my fault or asked if maybe I wasn’t doing something right. The manager promised I’d get paid back when replacing the key fab myself (we will see, I’ve been working a full time job plus autozone part time apparently, so no real time to do these extra tasks).
This place is absolutely terrible. So unless you want to get an unpaid, part time job trying to get help for their mistakes while trying to track people down— do not go here.

George is quick and very polite nice to see that these days which isn’t too often

My car was having issues that suggested the battery needed to be replaced. I asked AI for the best place to go in KOP, and it recommended this AutoZone. Jairon tested the battery, confirmed it was dead, sold me the right replacement, and swapped it out for free, even though the original 8-year-old battery put up a fight in the heat. He had me start the car to confirm everything worked before I left. Couldn't have asked for an easier process. Thanks, Jairon!

I received outstanding service from Alex. He took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, making sure I was comfortable with my purchase and understood all of my options. He also installed the battery right away so I could make it to my upcoming appointment without any issues. I highly recommend this location and truly appreciate Alex's professionalism and excellent customer service.Thanks again Alex, you are my hero of the day!
