I had my partner come and pick up my impala. She informed me that Stan had a conversation about being afraid of needles because he noticed my partners chest piercing. Fine, however he continued on how he must go to a certain phlebotomist because she distracts him with her chest. Very uncomfortable very unprofessional. Women and not just objects thank you. My business will be elsewhere

My tire went flat on a road trip with my wife and kids. I got off at the first exit, and luckily there was a Mr. Tire there. In and out with a brand new tire and a smile in 35 minutes. Thank you!

I made an appointment for a Sunday at 10 to get my tire repaired. When I got there the gentleman that I assume is the owner asked for my keys to move my car. As he walked out he was saying how there are signs up to not park where I did. I honestly did not notice them. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. They then told me there were several people ahead of me and it could be over an hour wait. I left and went somewhere else and will not be back again.

Where to begin, I went in this Mr. Tire in Irwin, PA on 4/10/26 for a state inspection. My check engine light had come on the day before, so that had to be taken care of as well. I asked that they rotate my tires(I'm fairly positive that didn't happen) and check why my passenger side headlight was out still(I changed the bulb myself and that did not fix the issue), I thought it could be a fuse or relay problem. My headlight issue was also not checked or taken care of. They claim to have done a "courtesy inspection" on my receipt, yet charged me almost $200 between scanning for the check engine light(I'm sure they just put a scanner on the car like anyone could have done for free at a parts store such as Advance Auto Parts) and replacing my air filter(why the check engine light was on). If they "really did" a courtesy inspection, I'm 100% sure they would have seen the air filter was dirty. Any oil change shop checks that🤦‍♂️. I should also mention, that I'm disabled and extremely hard of hearing(I used my phone to help me understand what they were saying and have the conversations saved) and I felt and feel like I was taken advantage of. Next, they told me I needed brake rotors and pads on the front of my car. Okay, that's fine until they told me the cost, $1,042. The parts at "my cost as a regular everyday consumer" were about $150 per rotor and $65 for brake pads. So, about $365 before taxes, my cost, those are numbers from Advance Auto Parts. Now, anyone who has any knowledge of automotive shops(I've previously worked in some, I'm just no mechanic by any means😂) knows these shops get even better discounted prices as they do so much business with the parts stores. So, just at my cost on the parts, the labor would have been $600 or more for front brakes which very well could have been done in under an hour? That's ridiculous and there's more. I was also told I needed a lower control arm on the passenger side and that they recommend changing both driver's side and passenger side lower control arms. I was told it would be $2,241 to change the lower control arm on the passenger side(I'm not sure if the $2,241 was supposed to include the $1,042 for brakes or not, but it's still sky high). I was told to change both lower control arms would be around $3,600(again, I'm not sure if the brakes were supposed to be included or not). Now again, we're back to those part prices. Both lower control arms with ball joints were priced at around $300 a piece before taxes, my everyday consumer price, at Advance Auto Parts. Mr. Tire was going to charge me $790.83 just for the lower control arm and they told me this job(lower control arm) is very labor intensive, that's why the price is so high. I looked the labor amount of time up as well. It calls for about 2 1/2 hours of labor per lower control arm. Needless to say, this place is a scam and defrauds their customers. Thankfully, they only got me for about $200, which I'm still not happy about and will be filing complaints with all the consumer protection agencies and the state attorney general's office. I also encourage anyone else who has had any issues with this company to do the same. The more complaints the better. I would also like other consumers to know that "Mr. Tire" is part of the Monro Family of Brands. Meaning, they have 10 other shops/businesses associated with this "family" such as Tire Barn Warehouse, Tire Warehouse, Ken Tire & Autocare-Towery's, Allen Tire Company, Monroe Commercial Solutions, Car-X Tire & Auto, Tire Choice Auto Service Centers, FreeService Tire Company Inc, Mountain View Tire & Auto Service, Monro Auto Service & Tire Centers and of course, Mr. Tire. There's a reason the "Monro Auto Service & Tire Center" shut down and is now closed in Irwin, PA on US-30, right beside Beer Marsala. Now we all know. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from all the "Family of Monro" brand businesses. Also, before the company answers my review telling me to call them, I've already emailed them twice before today to try to resolve this issue and received no response.
