  Buyer beware. If you are buying a new camper, rest assured you doing the right thing if you keep driving past Camping World. I bought a new Campsite Reserve 20AJ. The sales guy and the final walk-through guy told me that the 6 digit PIN for the LCIremote for the backup can audio system, etc...was inside the unit. It was glossed over as if it was the most easy setup ever. However, the device can not be located. Multiple calls to Harrisburg location to can be distilled down to "we have no idea where the device, we have no idea what a PIN is, you can drive the 2.5 hours back here, but we aren't going to be able to help". I called Forest River. They said they don't install any of the Lippert gear. It is completed by the seller. Lippert says they do not either, and didnot have a master PIN I could use to reset it to a new unique PIN. Btw, youtube is full of people who have zero idea what to do, either. It is like a car dealer selling you a vehicle without the infotainment system that is not programmed and then telling you, "Huh, I have no idea what you are talking about. Don't let the door hit you in the a$ on the way out". Worst buying experience ever (another story all together). Worst customer service experience ever. Worst tech support experience ever. Also, the $2,500 dollar "Go Camping" package is pure theft. It is $600 worth of stuff.

  Having read all the reviews of different RV Dealerships, we were somewhat hesitant to visit Camping World in Harrisburg, PA. They did have a used model that we had researched and seemed like it would be the perfect fit! Having been in sales and customer service related jobs my entire life I can be pretty sensitive to how we are treated. When we arrived, Jonathan put to rest quickly any negative thoughts we may have had and was very professional and easy to talk with. We did purchase the 2022 InTech Sol and everyone in Harrisburg was a breath of fresh air and at this juncture we have no reason to believe they will not continue to be so.   When we got there, I asked for James I was greeted by someone else when I talked to James. He didn’t say anything to me about him not helping me when I got there so it’s very surprised. We looked at some campers. I had to like pull teeth to go see the other ones found one that we really like, but you’re not giving me as much as I thought you would for my trade-in and I need some money down, but was told that the finance guy would get back to us today and I still have not heard anything from him.

  I am writing this in the hopes that I will be able to change it later, once Camping World Harrisburg has made me whole. I can tell you that I have had a very bad experience buying a used camper from them. ***Look at the attached document and under no circumstances sign it, should you decide to go through with a purchase from these people. Apparently this is a non-refundable magical invisible something that is supposed to protect the interior and exterior of your camper that costs $1700.00. You are within your rights to return any service contract within 30 days purchased from these people but they will absolutely sneak this one in on you and because it is allegedly applied they say it is non refundable.*** Purchased a 22' camper at the end of March and the night I trailered it home, I realized that they had installed the trailer hitch upside down which caused the trailer to bottom out and gouge the driveway. I had to leave it at my work and then have a mechanic come out to change it the next day. I also discovered they had sent me out with a dead battery and the General Manager said they would reimburse me for a replacement battery exactly 30 days ago today but I have still not received a check. This weekend I was able to use the camper for the first time since we purchased it. They offered to charge me to do an inspection before they sold it and then told me they would go over everything for free and make sure everything worked. Then they delivered me a winterized camper, full of antifreeze, with the hot water heater turned off. The hot water heater was missing the necessary anode rod for operation and the electric heating element did not work either. I was able to de-winterize the lines but I should mention that these people would have been completely fine with me drinking antifreeze.

  We bought an Rv. But not from you. We bought the exact same camper we were looking at, from someone who bought it from you. Less than a year ago. On our way traveling home from talking with you. We realized how much you take advantage of people. And after being put in touch with the young lady who bought this camper from you. We realized this must be your practice, to do this to people. We got the same camper you wanted to sell us for about $9000 less. She had only used 3 times .And when I told you we were not going to buy from you. You wanted to offer a better deal. I will tell anyone who asks not to deal with this company.
