    If I could give 0 stars I would. I just had the worst customer experience here ever courtesy of Dennis and Mike C. Do not frequent this business especially if you are a woman. A simple misunderstanding over a headlight bulb warranty turned into a hostile, rude, ridiculous interaction where it felt like I was being ganged up on by the employees. Thanks for the $6 dollars you saved me Mike, what a joke. Customers beware. There are many more locations for this business where the employees are polite and customer service oriented. Thanks to the kind stranger (a customer} in the store who helped me, sir you were a blessing.

    Came in 30 min prior to closing for a pick up order. 2 gentleman at counter. Mike B. (Or thats at least who is on the receipt) was too busy showing another coworker something on his computer and then complained about customers keep coming in and he cant close the registers. I was standing right in front of him whipe he said this. Then they put one bulb in instead of the 10 pack i ordered. When i got it corrected, he made it seem like it was my fault despite the receipt saying 10 pack. I was in and out in 3 minutes. Just rude. Other gentleman at the counter was much nicer and helpful. Didn't get his name unfortunately.

    I recently visited an Advance Auto Parts store (Toronto area) to get help checking the exact oil capacity (in quarts) for my vehicle using the VIN. I asked the employee politely if they could look it up or assist, as I’ve done similar things at other auto parts stores. Instead of helping or even explaining if they don’t offer that service, the guy was extremely rude. He seemed annoyed right away, barely spoke, and just handed me a receipt (or some paper) by dropping it on the counter without any explanation or eye contact. The whole interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional—no greeting, no attempt to assist, just abrupt and rude behavior. As a customer asking a simple question about oil specs (which is common for DIY maintenance), I expected at least basic courtesy or a quick “We can’t do VIN lookups, but here’s how to check it yourself.” Instead, I left feeling disrespected and won’t be returning to this location. Advance Auto Parts usually has helpful staff, but this experience was disappointing. Management should train employees on basic customer service—especially when people are there for advice on their vehicles.
