I love my new trailer, but I’d caution buyers to be very careful and scrupulous when selecting optional coverages. I was in a rush to finish my paperwork because the dealership service department was closing and I needed to get on the road, but looking over my sales agreement I noticed that Camping World managed to sell me nearly $10k worth of optional coverage and extended service on a $15k trailer. I could just buy a new trailer if something went wrong, at those rates. Now I have to go through a lengthy and bureaucratic process to get all of those policies canceled. Don’t be like me. Take your time and be cautious with the add-ons.

we have never ever had any issues with camping world at all.
We had always had very good interactions with all of the staff, and that is why we chose to take our camper to camping world to be inspected as we do yearly for the last several years.
We recently took our camper to be inspected by camping world - Hamburg Pennsylvania.
We waited while our camper was being inspected.
The lady comes out and tells my husband that our camper failed. She stated, that there was grease all over the brakes and that the breaks were bad.
my husband takes the camper home right away and removes all the tires to see what kind of brakes he needs to purchase.
When he looks at the brakes, there's nothing wrong with them and there is NO grease.
I immediately called camping world, and ask for a manager, The Lady who answered the phone said that the manager had left for the day and that she would give him a message to call us.
meanwhile, my husband took pictures of everything so that he could show the manager.
The manager returns our call in two days and informed my husband that he will look at the surveillance Cameras And get back to us.
The manager had not called us back so I called and asked for him. I was informed again by the secretary that answered the phone That the manager was busy with customers ( to be expected) And that she could leave him a message. Again, we received no callback so I called again and I told them if I didn't receive a call back that I would be calling Penn DOT And informing them of the situation with the inspection. I received a call back later that same day in the evening from the manager stating that he could not see anything but a tire being wheeled into the bay. The manager asked us to bring her camper up for another inspection by another tech.
We ended up taking our camper back up to camping world And having it inspected again.
The camper passed the inspection and they had no explanation as to why the woman told us that there was grease and the brakes were bad.
We informed camping world that we were not paying for this second inspection due to their error.
The manager said that this was OK and that they would eat the cost of the inspection.
** Make sure before you spend thousands of dollars that you either get a second opinion or check it out for yourself before you believe somebody **
I would highly recommend that you ask the tech show you right away What is wrong if you have issues with your camper?
Again we had never ever had any issues with camping world But this last experience has us hesitant to ever return to camping world.

Purchased a 2026 Campsite Reserve from Camping World. The sales person was great, Joe. I spoke with another employee at the location regarding the TV remotes that were provided to us by Camping World. The Fire TV remotes does not work for our TV. It is the wrong remote since we bought a floor model and the original remote was lost according to sales. Now we cannot setup our TV. Called their store and the gentleman I spoke to told me there was nothing he could do and basically called me a liar when I told him that we got the remote from their store. I was looking to buy a new one since we are on the road and get store credit. He told me no they will not do that because they can’t verify I got the TV from them. Again called me a liar. Told me I could buy a new one and eat the cost. As a retired law enforcement officer and disabled veteran I felt very discouraged by this behavior and treated poorly. I then spoke to Luke who was willing to help and needed to check with sales. We are also have an issue with our back up camera not connecting. Need to bring it in for service. Not happy with some of the employees behavior.

We had a great experience working with Tony while shopping for a travel trailer. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on helping us find the right fit, not just making a sale. He took the time to walk us through options, answer all of our questions, and made the whole process easy and low-pressure.
We ultimately decided to go a different direction based on our current needs, but that had nothing to do with the level of service we received. Tony was outstanding throughout.
When we’re ready to upgrade in the future, he’ll be our first call. Highly recommend working with him if you’re in the market.

So being first time camper owners, I should have listened when I was told and read all of the negative comments to avoid Camping World but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Doing our walkthrough they said it was cleaned and they resealed everything. I noticed the vent and vent filter was caked it thick dust. There was grease on the outdoor kitchen panel. The guy doing our walk through couldn’t answer all our questions and just said he didn’t get our unit ready. He told us it was dewinterized, found out later it wasn’t. The fresh water tank was full. We asked them to empty it before left. We found out when we got home, they didn’t empty it.
We put the slides out to get ready for our first camping trip, we discovered we had 2 leaks. The first leak was in the main slide. There was a nail sticking out on the top of the slide. The second leak was in the corner of master bedroom. Upon inspection, the seal was cracked. They didn’t reseal anything. We then discovered a yellow stain all over flooring, which doesn’t come out. The curtain rod in the master bedroom was broke.
We just got back from our first camping trip only to find out more crap that was broke. The dinette down was down in the bed position since we purchased it. We went to use it, and it was missing parts to hold the table on top. The shower head was broke, water shoots out of the seam on the handle. The LED lights under the awning are falling down. What a joke! How can you say you inspected it?
The finance guy was EXTREMELY pushy on the extended warranty. Dave the salesmen was the good part of the experience, but I would never recommend Camping World to anyone. I now understand why people say avoid Camping World.
