  My car stopped running after my battery light came on. Tow truck driver said it was the alternator. I had it towed to Murry Auto Electric. I didn't have an appointment and had never been a customer of theirs. I was referred to them by Valvaloine , because my turn signal didnt work and they said it was the wiring. Murry fixed that too. They replaced my alternator.

  Took my 2006 Solara convertible to them due to a parasitic draw on the electrical system. I'm an old guy and know my way around a vehicle, electrical is a different story for me. I suspected the aftermarket remote start as the culprit that came on this car, I'm the third owner and occasionally the battery would go dead. The battery started going dead more frequently to the point of becoming overnight. I knew of Murray from years of seeing it on Route 30 just outside Greensburg PA and decided to contact them. Point of contact was Luke, very pleasant and professional in his mannerisms. I explained that I thought the remote was the problem, describing the symptoms and my suspicions then turned over my key and 2 days later I was informed that my suspicions were correct. I was also informed of a problem with the alternator that most probably could be traced back to the aftermarket remote start. I went home and deliberately let the car sit for 4 days and it started right up, it's been a week with no problems. I am very well pleased with the quality of the repair and the professionalism of the staff at Murry Auto Electric. I don't leave 5 stars very much but they deserve it.

  These guys are very rude and ignorant I was told by a mechanic shop that these are the only guys that handle electrical work but he warned they are very rude sure enough he was correct o called 3 times explaining the problem with my vehicle and they hung up on me in the middle of talking for about a half a minute never experienced such a thing with any business

  One thing I will say is that these guys are an honest bunch who know their stuff. And I'd say those are the two most crucial things when it comes to a mechanic. They originally quoted me for what they thought the job was going to entail. I agreed. After learning that the job wasn't going to require quite as much work, they called me back and lowered the price. They could have kept the price the same and I would have been none the wiser. I was referred to these guys because they were supposedly the best in the business when it comes to electrical repairs and I can confirm that this is the case. The next time I have electrical issues with my vehicle I know where I'll be going. Special shout-out to Dave who kept me up to date on the progress being made and for just being an all around pleasant dude. Highly recommend Murray's.
