- MYMcKaila YoungJul 25, 20261.0I would not recommend Gettysburg Transmission based on my experience. I brought my truck in for repairs, and it came back in worse condition than when I dropped it off. Not only was the original issue not resolved, but there were additional things broken that were never repaired. Communication was also extremely disappointing. I specifically asked multiple times to be kept updated throughout the repair process, but I never received a single call. The only way I got any information was by calling them myself. When I picked up my truck, I immediately noticed it was vibrating badly and shifting extremely hard. I even went back, picked someone up from the shop, and took them for a drive. I was told they couldn’t feel what I was experiencing, despite the vibration and harsh shifting being very obvious. Overall, I left with a truck that drove worse than before, poor communication throughout the process, and unresolved concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

Most places won't rebuild them if you take it out of the vehicle and bring it to them,but they do !!! I'm looking forward to giving them more business in the future..A Big THANK YOU to everyone one there.also they were very fast to take care of what you need done!!!👍👍
