- BSbeaux sons1 day ago1.0I was visiting Fogelsville, PA for three days from North Carolina when I noticed my tire had a leak. I brought it to this Mavis location, and the technician insisted that the tire couldn't be fixed and that I needed a completely new replacement. Because I didn't want to buy a whole new tire on vacation, I had them put my spare tire on so I could drive home. That was a massive mistake. The entire drive back to North Carolina was rough, stressful, and incredibly loud because of a constant noise coming from the wheel. Today, I took my car to my local shop in NC, and they uncovered two shocking things: The original tire didn't need to be replaced at all. It just needed a simple, small patch. Mavis completely lied to try and scam me into buying a new tire. They put my spare wheel on completely loose. Because they failed to torque it properly, the wheel wobbled the whole way home, which completely destroyed my wheel bearings. Now I am stuck paying to get the bearings replaced because of their negligence. This facility is dishonest, misleads clients to make a quick buck, and performs dangerous, sloppy work that put my safety at risk on a long highway drive. Stay far away from this place!!
