- JJJRiderOct 14, 20265.0Exceptional staff. I want to give a shoutout to the manager , Jim, for helping me get a good deal on breaks and rotors for my vehicle!
- CTClint Kline (toymakanik)Oct 10, 20262.0Ive used this store a few times, but never ordered ahead. Well today i did and found it quite unreliable. I ordered ignition coils for my only car, and had to drive it to pick them up. I live about 30 minutes away. I was told they would be ready a little after 3pm. When I arrived at 330 i was told "the guy forgot to pick them up". So i get to drive my limping car back home today and will probably have to drive it back tomorrow. The only reason this isnt a 1 star review is because the person at the counter was actually honest with me. Very disappointed.
- JHJohn HornerOct 4, 20264.0Went to buy oil and oilfilter also got a headlight cleaner did a good job
- GMGamer Master1234Oct 2, 20265.0Very clean entrance with amazing staff that helped me get what I needed. Joshua specifically helped me find engine treatment for my vehicle and gave great advice. I recommend my friends and family to go there everytime!
- KBKurt BoydenSep 8, 20265.0Clarion location w as s great, helpful and respectful. Answered my questions with patients and respect. I can not say the same of the butler store. Called to see if they had my parts available. Before I could finish telling the clerk what I needed he interupted me and was a total disrespectful jerk. Will not do business there.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
