I scheduled to have new tires and a front end alignment on a Wednesday for a trip to SC on a Friday. When I arrived, the only lift they had that could do trucks had one on it and they we just into all new tires and brakes. So there went my appt. Wasted 1 hour round trip of a work day for nothing. They rescheduled me for the next day at 1:30. They mounted and balanced the tires but tried three times to do the front end alignment. The service manager said there was nothing wrong with the truck, but they just couldn’t align it. Nothing wrong but can’t do it. By this time it was 5:00 PM on the day before I leave for Myrtle Beach. Before I left the guy told me he’d recommend I go to Zimmerman’s. I don’t know them, but really?!
So when the truck is going straight down the road the steering is turned to the right about 1 inch or so. The picture is from a video I took of the truck slow rolling in the middle of a street. I can’t post the video.

I picked up a large metal object in my tire which caused it to go flat. I made an appt and took my SUV to Mavis, after attempting to plug the hole, for an integrity check with the plan to have to purchase a new tire. The staff was very friendly and even after being late for my appt, I was very happy to hear that instead of making a quick sale and taking advantage of me the staff at Mavis on Hartzdale drive certified the integrity of my tire as being safe saving me $260.00. I purchased my tires from them last fall and will definitely be going back. It’s nice to know there is still good, honest people willing to do the right thing and not chase the all mighty dollar. A HUGE thank you to them.
