I came in for the first time for an oil change and tire rotation since I’m new to the area I couldn’t believe my ears when they offered to look at my car free of charge no where does courtesy checks anymore let alone offer it right away all tho my car is in great condition according to Ben he let me know what I should except coming up on mileage recommendations which I really appreciate I’ll be back for that fuel injection service and brake fluid exchange at 30k miles

Went in this morning for a wobble in my wheel firstly Jamie at the front counter had me written in and car in the shop right away Ben and his tech verified what my concern was and checked the balance and let me know about my shocks leaking however I didn’t have the money to take care of it today Ben let me know about the Mavis card and tried to help me the best he could on price I will definitely come back here and get my shocks done with in the next couple weeks and take advantage of the life time warranty that is offered on shocks

This place and the two gentlemen that helped me are LIFESAVERS!! I had to drive over 140 miles away from home to drop off my eldest son at his college. When we (my eldest son, myself, and my two younger children) arrived, I saw that I had a screw in my rear tire and my oil light had come on. I panicked because I'm a single mom and I had just overdrawn my account to pay for my son's college tuition. All I had was $150 left on my emergency card. And I wasn't sure if it would cover a new tire and an oil change. I started searching for some place to get a tire, and maybe the oil change could wait. I found Mavis Discount Tires and called them. The guy that answered the phone was so sweet and reassuring when he said that he could help me. So, I took my car to them and went in to speak with the guy at the desk. He called over another guy who was working in the garage to look at my tire. He took the quickest glance and said "We can fix it." And that was that. They fixed my tired and changed my oil and I still had money to get enough gas to get my babies and I all the way back home!! Those two are angels, and I am so happy THE MOST HIGH blessed me to come across them. I wish I could take my car to them every time it needs to be serviced.

I had a tire blow out on me after hitting a curb. When I went to Mavis they didn’t have the exact tire that I wanted in stock. They were going to order the tire for me, but informed me I may be able to get a better discount if I ordered it on my own. I was able to save $50 ordering the tire on my own. After the tire arrived, I went back to Mavis to get the tire changed out. They had me in and out. Shout out to Manager Ben for the great customer service!

Very frustrating experience with Mavis in Brookhaven, PA.
I recently had a blowout on my right-front tire and ordered a replacement through Mavis. The tire was installed, and when I got home and went to put it on the vehicle, I noticed that the valve stem had not been replaced. Earlier that same week, I had the left-front tire replaced at the same location, and the valve stem was replaced on that tire.
The tires valve stem were part of a $29.99 package, so I expected the same service to be performed on both tires. When I called the store about the missing valve stem, I was given the runaround. I asked to speak with John, the DM, but still could not get a satisfactory resolution. When I requested a refund for the valve stem service that I paid for but did not receive, I again got the runaround.
I was even told that someone could come to my house, take the tire back to the shop, and correct the issue, but I was told I would not get the tire back the same day because the shop closes at 5 PM. That is not a reasonable solution when the tire is needed to get the vehicle back on the road.
I also tried calling the Mavis customer solutions line and selected option 2. There was nothing but dead air. I called a second time and had the exact same experience.
Another concern was the road hazard coverage. Earlier in the week, when I purchased the other tire, I specifically addressed wanting road hazard protection. I was not offered it. When I brought this up with the manager, I was told that road hazard coverage was not offered on run-flat tires. Had I been told that upfront, I would have seriously considered purchasing a new set of four tires that did offer a road hazard warranty.
The biggest issue here is not just the valve stem—it is the lack of communication, consistency, and customer service when I tried to resolve the problem. I paid for a service and expected it to be completed correctly. I also expected to be given accurate information about warranty options before making my purchase.
I hope Mavis takes this situation seriously and improves the way issues like this are handled.
